  1. See nobody mistakes my R33 for another car... A boat maybe, but not a car
  2. Ouch, just to rub salt in the wound it was a 20yr old R32.. I'm thinking a rematch is in order...with vids posted to pootube
  3. I usually try to avoid turning wheel at idle anyway, on any car..drive an old car with np PS and you learn pretty quick to only turn the wheel when car is in motion
  4. Will do I know he spent a bit of time sorting the cold start so what are the chances it would be fine without the AAC anyway.. I always warm it up before I drive, I don't have aircon and I'm sure there is enough power to run the PS.. So what is it good for really ?
  5. It also stops if I turn the car off turn turn it back on again..Aside from turbo and cooler whole setup is stock standard..Actually just thinking, I did pull the restrictor out of my boost gauge line, this couldn't do it could it
  6. Yeah I'd like to see a 20yr old falcadore motor do that.

Silver 33, trust bar and a driftlip..doing a runner at eastlink bp servo..gets half way out and stalls, mate gets out and push starts it and they took off..lady says come back you owe 60$
  8. No ghey bov..really annoying cause aside from that car is running great..until it stops moving that is
  9. anyone know why my idle keeps bouncing between 1500-2000 whenever i pull up at the lights it will settle after a bit (2-3 minutes maybe) but its got me stuffed, Trents been stuffing with it tune half the day but it still there, figure it must be something mechanical..AAC valve or a leak maybe..
  10. so they actually work pretty well without blowing shit up?? theres been some good reviews of them on 4x4 sites
  11. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/260729324877?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 seen anybody running these things..some report good results..not sure whether its safe to use all day everyday...
  12. So all these guys that are spending ridiculous amounts of money on the new diesel fourbys to gain a handful of kws.... is it all a big flog or are there worthwhile gains to be had... i have seen some mighty fast diesels on utube and such, but the really quick ones never seem streetable..they will have a heap of power at a certain point in the rev range and be totally useless everywhere else..
  13. Well there ya go, someone actually has experience with a diesel Astra..lolMy Ute has a cat no dpf here h
  14. I thought the stock cooler wad good for 400kw anyway.. Another option you could just buy a decent core from PWR or someone and weld your End tanks on
  15. Is it a turbo? If its not dont bother and gtfo of the FORCED INDUCTION thread.. If it is however, at the end of the day a restriction is a restriction and if you can remove restriction I say do it.. Weighing up gain per dollar is down to personal choice, if the cost is minimal then you have nothing to lose.. I know for sure. If I didn't have my skyline my diesel Ute would be getting a bigger intercooler, unichip and a bigger exhaust, would only gain me 20-30kws ,more torque and a better feel. But cost per mod I get far greater gains on the skyline so all my kids money goes there..
  16. Your car is actually a Mitsubishi but Nissan made the body..
  17. Dunno Roy I hope not to mate..
  18. Stock airbox could lose you 5-10kw nothing to significant, i am thinking of adding a pod out the bottom of it as well through the unused intercooler hole .But the power delivery I find is different, it comes on smoother so full boost doesn't hit quite so hard, its a little more transient.. Also Trent set the gate up to ease onto boost which smoothed it out some more.. Change this and stick a pod on and I have no doubt boost would hit like a hammer.. Depends which you prefer I guess and this is the way i wanted it My timing belt has about 60k on it now I will do cam gears when I change it..might give the Brae manifold a go to then too..For now i just want to enjoy driving it for a while.
  19. Yeah, tial 44mm hanging of the turbine housing.. 2 E85 outlets walking distance from my house now Alan, I feel so spoilt and the fuel feels great, the torque is like driving my little diesel Ute around, so much low down grunt..As an added bonus I just found out my adaptronic has switchable tunes. Its as simple as flicking a switch to change back to pulp..
  20. I'm running stock cam gears still and stock airbox..that could be worth couple hundred rpm lag..either way it is what is and should keep me content for a while..If I get bored a simple 25g + manifold conversion could net me 100kw extra. But for now, she'll be right..
  21. 3600..holds till 5600 then drops about 2psi..
  22. TD06sl2...whats yours??
  23. thats Micko with 335kw gtx yeah..I think he might eat me
  24. oh hai guys, can i play.....303kw @ 17.5psi... stock standard rb25, stock airbox, stock cam gears, stock manifolds.. see here... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/347726-kando-dynamics-turbo/page__st__3820 Just in
  25. heres my entry form, just qualifies RED..pulp @ 15psi (E85 @ 15psi made 288kw) BLUE...17.5 psi on E85 GREEN..21.5 psi on E85 As you can see the extra psi stopped making enough difference to be worthwhile. 18psi is about where I wanted to be anyway so its worked out good.. The torque increase through the midrange on E85 is brilliant, makes it so much more driveable in regular traffic situations..and after 20min or so driving around I opened the bonnet to find a very cool motor.. Anyway its no T67 but it is very nice and responsive to drive, with more than enough power to get me into trouble.. Should keep me satisfied for a while.. good diff and tyres on the want list now..
