If your patient you can take the whole hard line off and run rubber (hear "gates flame proof" hose or similar) all the way around the back off the head to the manifold..I bought 1 metre for about 15$ it was heaps.. Getting the hard line off is a bit of a pain as its bolted to the back of the head but i did it with some patience.And the join on to the inlet manifold isnt too hard if you take the AAC off ( u can give it a clean while its off too)... Also Just make sure you run the flame hose away from the ex manifold, if you run it too close, say between the the turbo and manifold, it will get brittle and crack again and its a pain to replace..I just looped mine down away from it..

3071 with the original style 6 bolt rear Is a bit restrictive Ive been told and will only make around 260kw,Least thats what GCG told me.. whereas garret style rear will make closer to 290kw i think and spools up quicker..

Ive seen some older cars get rid of the indicators all together and the stop light just flashes on one side..definately different What i wouldnt mind doin is only having one tailight on,the outside one.. then both light up when i brake...reckon its possible?

Sounds like the perfect limit it, holds 236kw at 7200+ so if you want to hold it in gear for a long corner for any reason you can without hitting the limiter... hitting the limiter is nasty but holding it right near it is great and thats where all the power is.. If a 300kw car can hold 7000 no worries i reckon a 236kw one, handbuilt with good bearings will have no problems at all at 7500 as long as it was built properly..oil cooler would be advisable if your up there all the time though..

I reckon it will be fine, not like your running heaps of power, So all though its revving hard theres not the strain that say 300kw would put on the enigne.. I wouldn't worry too much, just drive it and remember to shift before 7500 and it'll be fine. Id say your tuner knew there was more power up top so gave you the ability to use it.. Sounds like you've built a nice revvy motor that will have very snappy acceleration, be great out of corners...

Yeah i just came back from a trip to Adelaide the south eastern freeway is a work of art , pity about the rest of the city, and i swear all the drivers are on valium or something..U guys think our 40 zones are bad over there they are 25...And all the zones that should be 80 are 60 ..And whats even weirder is the buses drive on tram tracks.... Put that together with their import hating police and Melbourne seems not so bad...

i picked up a used 3071 kit for $1500...was gunna get a hiflow but this showed up so took my chances, so far so good.. Although thats said it probably wont make much more power than a good hiflow...maybe less and theres no warranty..

Have you tried running the car with afm unplugged... I had a dodgey afm Mine ran fine with it unplugged but wouldnt idle and sounded like a rotary when it was plugged in...That said i didnt try driving it whilst unplugged but it idled fine.. not really sure why this is but try it...

You do know BB turbos sound like that when you switch them off....for about 30 seconds... Or so Im told,otherwise mine is screwed too....

I havent seen many results from turboed v6 holdens but wasnt the v6 motor based on the v6 from a buick that was sold turboed in america and is a pretty good performer with a few mods....Im talking 10seconds good...
