truck shops have the good ones...what area u in theres heaps of truck shops in dandy that sell them Bunnings have some but there expensive and not as good..but they will do the job personally id be getting something rated at least 2500kg would be perfect that said i have tied cars down with rope before..

ok that makes perfect sense then... there was a huge layer of soot on my exhaust when i got back so no doubt on my plugs too.. So if i cleaned the plugs off it would probably run fine again until i tried to drive it... damnit Towtruck it is then... Cheers...

long as you use straps that are rated at 2 tonne or more and tie them to solid points of the car like suspension or chassis it would be fine.

Ok so i put bigger injectors in last week (no i havent put new ecu in yet, and yes i know it needs one) and just out of interest i fired it up to see if it would run.. And it did it sat and idled away perfectly maybe with a slight miss but good enough that i thought i wonder if it will drive (albeit very gently) so i can get it to the shop... Well it got till the end of the block ok, and then started running like shit, now it will barely idle. you know that running on 5 cylinders styles. what i am wondering is this just because of the injectors, and if so why did it idle and rev so cleanly before i tried to drive it Or should i be looking for something else maybe?? I cant find any leaks , though there was a small amount of smoke assume is just wd40 or something Was hoping it may run so i dont have to get a towtruck to the shop...

I just got rid of my 2.75inch system with cannon and resi that had a nice note but was pretty loud and very droney I now have a good 3.5inch system and its much quieter...go figure..

And with Mobil closing down many servos in the near future and independents taking over many of their old stores i feel it will be a case of all we have to do is ask as these old servos get revamped and new pumps put in etc....it wont take long...

yeah i would of got a new fuel pump before i spent money on an intercooler..Fuel pump and a boost T, run it at 10-14psi, whatever works best, would of been more powerful and still responsive..
