Can you use polish on small rust spots? I've got a very small rust spot on my car, no bigger than 1-2mm that just recently started to rust after i accidentally scratched it a few months ago., I saw a youtube video saying that you can just get polish to remove the rust by wiping down on it hard. I also had a friend tell me to wipe it hard with vinegar, but is that safe for the paint around the stratch? Also if i dont treat the rust, will it just continue rusting from underneath the paint from the areas surrounding the rust? Ive already bought touch up paint but im not sure the best way to remove the small rust spot without f**king the paint. thanks.

Best way to clean dirty ass seats? hey guys, I work a job where my clothes regularly get dirty, so when i sit in my car the dirt from my clothes just transfers onto my seats. On top of that, ive split drinks and my gf threw coffee on me so the seats are filthy as f**k right now that i put a towel on the seat so my clothes dont get dirty from just sitting on the f**king thing. Whats the best way to clean the seats and the carpet? I was thinking about using the steam cleaner the one you hire from coles or woolworths but is that safe to use on the roof lining and the carpet as well?

Theres a strong smell of fuel coming from the engine bay when it happens. But if it's a leaking injector then why does it just fix itself?its just hard to determine because the problem is not consistent and if I were to try to diagnose the problem the car would just run fine again when I'm 10 minutes into the diagnosis. I feel that if I take it to a mechanic they are gonna charge me gods knows how much just to fix it. So damn angry right now

What do you think the most likely the problem is?like I said, after reaching 60 something degrees Celsius oil temp, the car would putter with a loss of power for about 10-15 minutes then it would run perfect again and WONT DO IT AGAIN TILL NEXT COLD START. It feels like it's running on 5 cylinders but I can't tell if it's a misfire or not. If your car misfires, does that mean it would run with one less cylinder? Or would the car just cut out every few thousand revs? Because my problem is a continuous putter for 10 minutes. If I didn't screw down one spark plug all the way could it cause this? I'm using bcpr6es with 0.8 so I'm pretty sure.

Just to clarify, if I'm running up to 12 psi I should use 1.1 gap right and anything over 12 and over psi I should do 0.8 right? I can't remember 100% sure that if I'm running 0.8 I'm actually almost certain it is although I said 1.1 in the initial post.

Car starts puttering after reaching certain oil temp Hey guys I've had this problem for a while now, about 4 months or so. When I start my car from cold start, the car would start puttering after reaching anywhere between 65-70 degrees oil temperature. What it feels like is one of the cylinders are not working and as you accelerate it would make a putt-putt-putt sound. Still have all boost but have an obvious loss of power. At first when it first started happening it would last only about 10 seconds but now it lasts sometimes 10 minutes seriously. The car would then just randomly start working 100% with full power and all. Once the car stops the puttering it would then never do it again 90% of time until I do a dead cold start again. When I was serving my car last time I couldn't screw in the 4th spark plug cylinder properly all the way down like the other cylinders because it would get tight within a couple of spins and I'm known to crack spark plugs when I'm tightening them. Also half the yellow jackets have warped rubber heads so the spark plug hole for a couple of them isn't closed off 100%. I use bcpr6es with 1.1 gap and the car is r34 gtt its just that right now I can't afford to do things to the car if I know they won't fix the problem. any help of what the problem might be would be greatly appreciated thanks

Sorry forgot to mention that the front of the car was facing down the hill . I wasn't going down the hill backwards like I was reversing down the hill if u can get the picture

Motor was running, foot on clutch while in reverse gear ,going down a steep hill. so all is well, didn't damage nothing?

Leaving your car in reverse gear while rolling down a hill Hey guys, Earlier today i turned into a steep hill street and I realised that it was the wrong street so I put it in reverse gear to pull out of the street but then a taxi came up behind me so I couldn't get out of the street. So I went down the hill but after going down about 50 metres I realised I still left it in reverse gear while my foot was pressed down on the clutch pedal. I only realised I left it in reverse gear when I heard that winding noise reverse gear makes so I immediately put it in neutral. I was wondering if this could damage the gearbox or any transmission system or anything else on the car. I tested reverse gear straight after and it still seemed fine but I just wanted to make sure. thanks

After i serviced my car i forgot to put the strut brace back on and the nuts for the coilovers in the engine bay, and i only realised after driving it for like half an hour lol. Thankfully nothing feels like it f**ked up, but is there anything i should look out for? Only went over a couple of speed bumps. thanks

Is there any way to change the globes in the r34 skyline foglights? because the whole unit seems to be sealed really tight. I tried shaving off the silicon between the front cover and the back cover but it still wont budge. Anyway, it is this one : http://imgur.com/a/SwnLt thanks

I went out and bought 2 different antenna adapters for the nissans to get my radio working but i cant figure it out! The factory wiring for the head deck has the plug with the 2 prongs on them, and my antenna input on my double din head deck has a round input. yeh but does the gain always have to be lower than the SET?and by how much? are you saying one car can have 50 set 25 gain and another car can have 25 set and 50 gain?

Whats the correct SET to GAIN ratio to set on blitz boost controllers. Currently my SET is on 40 and my gain on 32 and its only doing 0.7 bar and im getting boost spikes. What is the correct ratio to set it on? thanks

my rb20det was 187kw atw and all it had was intercooler front mount, full exhaust, hi flowed rb25 turbo running at 12-16 psi(cant remember exactly) and a tune. Seriously you should be pumping out much more power, your car is obviously bottlenecking the power somewhere and you should figure out where. Most likely the rb20det turbo and tune. Rb20 turbo is shit and a proper tune would make a world of difference.

my car has already been tuned with a power fc and it blows out black smoke for dayzzzzz. The back bumper needs to be resprayed because the black smoke has permanently stained the bar. Gonna get some low key garret turbo, some injectors and a z32 afm then im gonna take it to JEM to get it retuned

Ive got a rb25det neo and a couple of weeks ago my car started overboosting. Didnt really pay attention but a couple of days ago i was looking through my engine bay and found the actuator hose was disconnected. The turbo was boosting up to 1.1 bar which is like 17psi which is wayyy past the recommened max psi for rb25det neo turbo. It went up to 1.1 on like 15 different occassions. Could i have damaged the turbo or engine in any way because of this? it runs 12psi daily setup. thanks.

Im sick and tired of this shit. 2 months ago just before i sold my 32 i had someone run up the back of my car and scratch the bumper bar stripping the paint and bending the tow hook. Now i have had a r34 for 2 months now and its been hit 3 times so far. Someone reversed into my front bar and cracked the paint, they did the same thing with my rear bar and the paint is cracked now and yesterday i came back to my car after it was parked in westfields and some dickhead hit my side mirror and cracked the shit. Seriously i was parked with wide spaces in between. Sick of all these f**kwits hitting my car seriously i wish i caught someone hit and and run off i swear to god ill f**king kill them. Do you have f**kwits hitting your car and how mad does it make you?

I bought a r34 rb25det neo a few weeks ago and only today i noticed that on the blow of valve piping(about one inch thick) there is a nipple that has no vacuum hose connected. The nipple is on the BOV piping just before it connects to the turbo air intake piping(the piping with the pod filter that goes to the mouth of the turbo). Anyone has any idea where it should be connected to? here is the picture:

my mate had a auto vl and honestly he would do brake+accelerate burnouts on a weekly basis and he never had problems. RB engines can take it as long as you service it regularly

How bad is it to do a rev dump burnout in 1st gear? what is the proper way to do it? after rev dumping first gear, are you meant to put it into second while easing off the accelerator or can you flat shift it into second? I sat it on the spot for about 10 seconds in 1st gear and im pushing just under 200kw. Also, is it ok to just straight up rev dump it on second gear? Basically, what is the safest way to sit it on the spot
