I'm in two minds as to whether to get a bodykit or not for my 33. I was thinking of a Nismo style lip extension, plus Trial rear and sides maybe? Thing is I'm concerned about attracting too much cop attention, also it is going to COST and that money could go under the hood or on brakes or something? Descisions, descisions...

Maybe not a great idea bragging about breaking the speed limit on cruises...never know who is going to read it. Next cruise there may be a cop with a hairdryer waiting. ...just sayin'

You need to don your flame suit after that heresy. Too be honest I can't refute the idea of VQ's being 'a lot better'...but I've heard of people easily blowing pistons w/ a bit of aftermarket boost. Sure there are more powerful engines than the RB's but they are pretty good for street cars at the end of the day. They are reliable, strong, bits and pieces are plentiful etc...they just want to be boosted up.

I'd imagine the RB would be easier to fit, cheaper and easier to get trick parts for and boost up a bit? It's more of a known quantity...proven reliability.

There was a fair amount of rubber on the zig-zag when I drove it last week. I think some people go up there and REALLY hoon/cane it down.

These cars have zero mystique is the problem. Maybe that's just 'cos I wasn't born and brought up here I dunno? The only Ford I'd think about is an Escort RS Cosworth from back in the day. As for Holden? Meh they are Vauxhall back in the UK...they make company cars.

The GTO is an overtly heavy car built for the American market. A buddy at work has a 97 540. It's a real old mans car. Interior is awful. Makes the 33 interior look like a work of art. Yeah get a MANUAL JZZ30.

I thought you liked Boxters? 300ZX's look great but the engine isn't as good as an RB - so I've heard - and they are heavy.
