  1. Lateral G-force indicates that a car has lateral grip so there is no need for the 4WD system When the car gets slip/yaw the lateral forces will be reduced and the 4WD will increase and all will be well. Makes sense to me... Might not work in the real world™ but since when have Nissan engineers lived there.
  2. You are a C Hunt
  3. Nizpro... but you get what you pay for and you get a lot
  4. Hard Drivin' had a clutch and amazingly realistic steering feel and wind noise sound... It also had shitful graphics! Some versions of 355 Challenge have a clutch too (I used to have the Chadstone lap record for Suzuka long)...
  5. Holy crap... apparently young people today think they are indestructible???? WOW!!!!! And this is different how from the last 2000 years of human history? Good to see local government is still filled with 3AW listeners...
  6. Well a R33 GTR has 40mm wider tyres than you have on a 9" rim which is 38.1mm wider than a 7½" rim so I would say yes!
  7. Sunny T-bar
  8. It is only 20x20 if you make 800bp and rev to 9,200rpm
  9. Hmmm might have to finish off my tyres at Winton... Though attending a Christmas Party the night before... I am sure I will be fine.
  10. End of the day, I jumped over the track fence with him. I was wearing my koala shirt and a Full Lock hat. I thought the guy with them was Asian so I guessed it wasn't you. But I didn't get much sleep and got a lot of sun that day so I was thinking a lot of strange things.
  11. Errr you weren't with Jarius and his cousin when I was talking to him were you?
  12. Yeah he was doing some fulming for TV Un Zud 4. It was a killer, after the first run he had with the Onevia it was one "win" each so we re-ran it. Then when he was following the Onevia he did a big fast entry into the last corner at about double the speed of the front car so if he hadn't stop drifting he would have hit the car in front. So unfortunately he lost becasue of that. But he was one of the three fastest guys on the day with his entry speed. Also he was one of the nicest guys you will meet. Anyway, apart from burnt little patches where I missed with sunscreen on my arms it was good. Also two drivers were unhappy about decisions, so we will have to find out exactly what happened.
  13. Both days... definitely in with a chance to win in my opinion.
  14. Yep... that is the one... He will be rippin it up with the gate open... wikkid!
  15. :spamcan: Well the actual Banzai battle clashes with the SAV xmas BBQ so if anyone would like to come along and see drifting, see people crashing S13's or just to stress out inark. There is the practice night the night before from 5pm till dark at Calder Park, spectators are $10. Anyone interested in Skylines should defintely come to see this baby in action (all the way from South Australia) http://www.jsrdesign.net/vids/wiplash-1.WMV http://www.jsrdesign.net/vids/wiplash-2.WMV http://www.jsrdesign.net/vids/wiplash-3.WMV
  16. I remember the Daijiro Kato MotoGP accident at Suzuka... I was horrified when I saw a marshall lift and "plonk" him onto a stretcher! Must have dropped him a good 30cm. He had serious injuries to his head, neck and chest and while I think he was pretty much dead anyway it was not really the nicest way to work with him. Anyway, I guess that is just the way they do it over there. Like IG says... DON'T HAVE AN ACCIDENT IN JAPAN!
  17. Just bring your FC
  18. I'll be there... Judging inark's drifting! Yay... p.s. Where is my cheque?
  19. To be completely honest I have usually tried to avoid people with tatoos on their forehead.
  20. Ummm sold is something like this 張形
  21. Just on an unrelated note I like Tarzan's T-shirt here
  22. Hehe just check the mechanic installed it correctly. 0.7 bar is just actuator pressure so it isn't doing anything at the moment... The setup is a bit confusing (well for me it was) this document was very useful, despite having the solenoid on the opposite side of the car. http://www.gtr.co.uk/html/docs/apexi_avc.zip But be careful, when you go out for a drive 80% duty cycle will spike the boost hard!!!! In my opinion turn feedback off and just do runs at lower duty cycles until you start to get the boost you are after.
  23. Hmmmm... that is seriously not cool. Anyway, they also have SS Commodores running around so there is more than just bikes to worry about.
  24. Nah that isn't a 22B, thank God!
  25. Ah this is very true... Some other cruises I have been on were run early in the morning when recalcitrant holidaymakers are less of a problem. Also you can stop and have breakfast in Apollo Bay... Then return the less busy inland route.
