Interesting, just did it for me on a 96 gts and gtst and 3rd party were both 292, and the comprehensive for gtst was $400 more at $1670 than the gts. I guess it's just a basic number they use, the big costs only come up when you hit a ferrari anyways. I personally wouldn't go 3rd party on a car worth more than 3 or 4k, it's just too much of a gamble. And if someone hits you it's far easier having your insurance company pay you quickly than chasing some douche through the courts trying to get payment (it's easy for the insurance companies who have lawyers on hand).

Got a new one just this morning, the third one for the kart (in sig). He was really persistent, sent about 4 emails, with me replying saying cash only on pickup and this looks exactly the same as the other scam emails I got. Though he assured me he was safe and that bad people out there ruin things for the good people like us (lol). Anyways, I saw one where they sent the seller a fake email from "paypal" saying the money was in waiting, and the seller then had to pay the shipping company, which was probably just the guys personal offshore account. How much control do they get if they have your paypal account?

+1. Has a mechanic looked it over? Compression, oil leaks, rust, suspension condition, you'll want to know all this and more. Definitely do a revs check.

It depends on pricing though. Can you really make it profitable without getting above 50% of the price to get something done professionally (I know, "professionally" can vary a fair bit hence why so many people here do tasks themselves)

It doesn't, that or I lucked out on a clerical error a few months ago. But double demerits => more police and less tolerance, so you're way more likely to get booked for a trivial offense.

Sorry that was slightly exaggerated, the autos are a bit less but with decent kms and being a series 2 you should make some cash buying a series 1-2 gtst. I was saying spend the made money on mods, modding before selling is a waste.
