    quick question - do they make that much difference under heavy breaking? Im assuming more suited to track cars rather than a street car?

  5. give the aac valve a clean (there is a diy tutorial some where on this forum) it can help with the revs jumping.. Mine used to do it - cleaned the valve - it still does it but only slightly..

  7. when its idling? cold start? like simon said - factory oil pressure gauge isnt spot on
  8. check your plugs - check the gapping - clean the afm - how old are the coil packs? my series 2 rb25det idles around 700 but occasionally jumps from that to 710 then down to 690 then plateaus again at 700rpm when its warmed up and idling. the ticking could be injectors

  10. also - as much as losing your car would be bad - im amazed at the amount of cars i see with gps - ipods, iphones - phones in general - laptops etc just sitting in cars in plain view (like in shopping centre car parks etc) its common sense but dont tempt anyone - having a thief in your car stealing your shit still leaves the proverbial 'sour' taste in your mouth, let alone someone stealing the car.. shame on these people

  12. Get some one to fast your vin. There is a thread somewhere about it. General skyline discussion forum. Does your dash have the stock r33 boost gauge? Are you trying to work out if it's an na thats been turboed?

  14. my 25det had 2 out of the 6 slightly more carbon-ed up - i put it down to those 2 coils failing as they are starting to get a small hairline crack..
  15. ^^ its the banks car.. not the sellers.. seller doesnt pay residual.. bank marks car as being stolen.. police will take the car if you're driving it.. unfortunately its a whole lot of headache for the person who buys it.. OP if you want some advice send me a pm - just finished 6 years in this industry.. count: the reason im asking if its a personal loan or secured debt is the processes involved in meeting the criteria of the sellers contract.. the seller doesnt have to tell the buyer but usually if you ask the seller off the cuff they will just say it.. what has the seller got to hide by not telling you this? After all, he wants to sell the car for some reason. If he refuses, then just be cautious.
  16. its pretty much the exact same as an autogauge boost gauge except the clips are in a different pattern if you have any more problems let me know..

  19. well ive un clipped everything and re zip tied the wires so they arent being crushed or near anything hot (was kind of being pinched beside the oil filter and the chassis) straightened it all out - hasn't shat itself all day so fingers crossed its just the wiring.
  20. stock ecu?could be other issues.. worn coilpacks - plugs need replacing / re gapping - like mlr said the exhaust is why its boosting a little higher..

  23. What kind of gauge? Sounds like an autugauge
  24. Greddy gauge. Stock still reads as normal. I think there might be a bad wire because the needle blips and goes crazy every now and then
