  1. nice one danny!! now, do they clear your wheels???
  2. thats only IF PM35s can be complied............... if not, then we will have to make do with what we have!
  3. 25000k???? is that a joke??? put a 25000k HID next to a 6000k HID and tell me which one lights up the road better..............
  4. i dont think it would be mounting. D2R/S can pretty much only go in 1 way. they are keyed and would be VERY out of alignment assuming you could get the clip over the top of them. as for where to get a better kit. youll pay a crap load for brand name stuff, so stick with the cheapies. i bought a spare pair of burners just in case for $40 delivered, it was cheap enough. those cheap china places will make you send the faulty one back before sending you a working on, you know??
  5. xenons have a life, if its a cheap kit then it has probably deteriorated once its come up to temperature. swap the burners over and see if the problem changes side. if it does, buy new burners (if they are 8000k they are cheap china ones - not that its a bad thing) but they are cheap to replace also. if the problem stays on the same side, its the ballast failing. but i got money on the burner being the problem
  6. good work! at least you saved some cash in doing it yourself!! nice one
  7. i think the auto box would require WAY too much work to sustain the power. i dont think a RWD VQ25DET M35 would be a bad thing. the 350S is RWD, and besides forced induction on that motor, the 25DET could put out a hell of a lot more power!
  8. ohh yeah i forgot about that lol
  9. i think he started a new job, he is probably busy doing that!!
  10. yup IM is the way to go! have never let me down!! yeah get one while youre over there damien! it makes the front look angry instead of lost lol some guy up in nelson bay stared at it trying to work out what it was earlier today. im glad the nissan badge is gone might stick a volvo badge on the back
  11. ive thought about it plenty of times. but it comes down to cost and availabilty of parts. that said, there was a V35 6-speed on IM with the pedal box and all interior parts and tail shaft...... i think it was $2500odd + shipping + IM commission.
  12. you dogs had a meetup and didnt invite me???
  13. lol cam is scares me you know the model line up from holden
  14. thanks dude! here is the other one i like, i believe there is one in the country already http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?url=h...g&title=M35
  15. Personally I dont think you can comare the two. One is a purpose built sports car with 5 seats, and the other is a comfortable station wagon. To me (and i mean no offence) its like comparing a top of the line HSV with a basic commodore. personally i hate commos, but thats what im comparing it to anyway, drive both! remember M35s only come in auto, 260RS only manual
  16. Thanks! there is no nismo grill FYI but this is probably one of the two that i like, the other one i like doesnt have the straight centre line through the middle of it!
  17. yeah id believe that. i have no idea what was put in my engine last service, but its held up ok. that said i AM several thousand ks behind on servicing lol
  18. OK not really, there is no such thing, but it looks good! Now to remove the rear badging and get a Nismo badge for the back. i can smell the rice burning already
  19. really? i thought the factory weight was 5w-30??
  20. its all advertising, the owner of the car who has spent all the money gets 1 mention but the workshops that had done the work will get mention after mention............
  21. sounds like a car magazine!! my mate had a car featured also, he wasnt even listed as the owner!!!! the guy that TOOK the car to the shoot they had as the owner. useless people really
  22. maybe contact the manufacturer of your screens and download the colour calibration profile thingo.........
  23. yeah the high indicators are good!!! lol
  24. maybe try using a jumper lead from the positive battery terminal to the positive terminal of the starter, see if it kicks over....... if you can hear a click, its either a wiring issue, or your starter is shagged. and yes they can just stop working!
  25. actually thats a good point! if it WAS automatic, and its now manual (for whatever reason) then the starter inhibitor might be faulty. as in the wire bridging what used to be a switch, is now not working
