  1. youre telling me!! i just want my friggen car back!
  2. thats real sad news mate. i read your entire thread about this and its really disappointing. glad its sorted as best as possible.
  3. i wont make this one. i wont have my car back by then apparently it took them 2 days to change the motor in the tailgate. wtf??
  4. hahah nah been working. i mean actually doing work at work. after today its more laid back, ill resize and post some stuff up for you all! promise
  5. sorry guys i have pics of doing this for an M35 as well. been slack editing my italy pic trips instead of this. ill post up, piss easy job, and i thought they were actually black till i bought a new one from nissan. turns out they start life white in colour
  6. my TB was FILTHY before i cleaned it. ohh yeah pics! i forgot, ill resize them and post them up!
  7. i find the gearbox sluggish too, mostly on kick-backs at low speed. ie, cruising in traffic at aroun 15km/h ill put my foot to the floor as i pull into the lane next to me, but it takes SO f**kING LONG to kick-down that the car i almost cut off has had to brake so they dont hit me. then it find the gear it was after and powers off. in traffic now i use the tiptronic and keep it in 1st so i can perform said manouvers safely. maybe due to the higher power and torque over the RB25 that it needs to be more gentle with shifting so nothing down the driveline is broken or prematurely wears out?? thats my theory anyway lol while the car is moving, i rekon the gearbox is perfect - on my car anyway - except for a problem i put it in for last week.
  8. i think the windows going up further is a security feature. nissans (S15/S14s especially) were easily broken into by shoving a big screw driver under the window lip and popping the glass out. this prevents it from happening!
  9. you forgot to mention actually getting the box to bolt up to an RB series motor.
  10. hahah i could have showed up in my loan car. hmmm mazda 323 astina with NO options.... lol ill come next time!!
  11. AU$588?? thats probably worthwhile!! i notice is has the indicator stalks etc, can you get it without them? EDITED: ok i read the links. the kit looks easy!! this might be a next purchase after wheels!
  12. ohhh man there was an axis there and i missed out?? dude you gotta come again!! lol
  13. id actually need to HAVE my stagea to be able to drive it there
  14. lol its family. they come before all others!! im sure you understand
  15. i cant make this one sorry, 1, my car is being repaired and 2, my sister decided she wants to see me for dinner.
  16. no youre right, these cars ARE underbraked!! upgrading pads and rotors is a good start if you cant afford new calipers and bigger rotors.
  17. then youd get that on ALL cars. using the gears to slow down in a manual doesnt take all that much from the brakes. and youre still on the brakes when youre at a standstill the key is to let you brakes warm up before you go stomping on them from 80km/h
  18. dude i was being sarcastic. im well aware of the 260RS lol i sitll stand by my comment
  19. the syncro button is easy. push it forward for 50/50 torque split front and rear. middle 'off' setting to let the atessa system push torque to the front wheels when needed push it backwards for 50/50 torque split and starts in 2nd gear. this is the 'snow' setting
  20. ohh unlucky dude! did they supply the pictures with the fine??
  21. FYI guys ive SEEN a partial translation on the menus of the V35/M35 tv. looks awesome!! and i think pics have been posted a few pages back.
  22. whats a stagea GTR? looks like an RS4 thats been in a smash and had an engine conversion!
  23. M35s outnumbered the C34s!!
  24. yeah or faulty rotors, or someone stomped on the brakes from 140km/h when they were cold, or bad compound rotors.
