  1. its to stop kids from pretending to drive and then letting the car go with them in it.
  2. they should be cheap and plentiful too!
  3. to the right of the P postion is the shift lock release. remove the little cover, then stick a small screw driver in there. it will allow you to push in the gear shift release button.
  4. i was being serious dude.
  5. awesome ill check em out then mate. my rattles are gone, turns out the thread to the link in the front LCA was a bit stuffed and wasnt letting the nut screw on all the way. changed mount with a newly tapped thread, all good now
  6. was this the front or rear link arms?
  7. no worries dude did you get them all cleaned up? i need to do mine again, but they are a crap load better than they were before!
  8. +1 on that. there is PLENTY of height adjustment on the BCs
  9. dude which one is yours??
  10. so unplug the headlights at the headlight unit one at a time and test by turning the switch on. see if it only does it with one etc. you appear to be a sparky, use your head if it still stalls with both headlights unplugged, its somewhere in the switch or the loom. when they automatically turn on, does it stall too? if not, its not the headlights, its probably the switch. i have a spare if you think thats what it is
  11. and also have them check the mount for the exhaust further down. looks like its taken more weight on the exhaust than it should have.
  12. ok its possible you got a 2.5L one. never thought of that, sorry! i believe i have a 3.5L manual in mine. it just doesnt have the transmission loop in the bottom. ok then be aware a V35 radiator MAY not bolt in
  13. i spoke to him in person, Leon. they are easy to remove. two push clips to remove the surround. 4 bolts that hold the actual light unit in. once its removed, unplug. then the whole backing comes off. youll need to unscrew the adjustment screw all the way, then each side has a push clip that will allow the reflector to pop out. let it come out, and youre left with it and the glass and frame! clean, reverse above to get it back together. just remember to screw the adjustment screw back in or the lights will be pointing at the sky
  14. any exhaust shop should be able to weld that up do it soon tho, due to its location some exhaust gas may come into the cabin, and because its before the cat its generally not good to breathe due to the high content of carbon monoxide. and other crap
  15. replaced both burners with another set of cheapo chinese HIDs. also removed and cleaned the inside of my aero driving lights. they look good now!! thanks for the info on that benny!
  16. unfortunately youre right, there will be plenty of spares and half cuts coming in. whole cars will be hard to come by. so jump on something that is the right price/condition. alex, the fiat is awesome and you know it lol
  17. FYI the V35 radiator is NOT a bolt in option. youll need to cut some of the reo around the radiator to make it fit. also need to trim the fan shroud. a hacksaw will be fine. the reo material is easy to cut! not a massive job, but i have one in my car. pipe outlets and cap location are the same.
  18. i owned 3 of the same car. am i even rarer?? the V35 will have better response due to NA and faster shifting transmission. but the 2.5L would be sluggish compared to the 3L and 3.5L
  19. very nice!! looks great
  20. i saw your name popup in here, thought it was weird haha nah the V35 is really nice. and youll be familiar with it. the inside is basically the same. lacking in torque, but they make up for it with less weight than our 2000kg cops! thats not true, i think yours only weighs about 700kg now
  21. technically be bought them from me. or stole them. i havent worked that out and yes they are from stephens old car
  22. dont you dare!! unless you buy your engine back and put that in a V35, then ill accept that
