The rear on a gtst/gtr are different I believe. GTR has the U bracket while the others have a bushing(same as the front).

They are really nice on flat bendy roads but living in Parramatta, the roads here are disgusting and they will make my passenger nauseous. If someone can tell me how to identify my teins ill tell you which one they are. From the tops, theyre standard(dont have the top camber/dampening adjustment). The suspension tower thing is silver, has a black spring and two adjustable turny things. I will trade these for any decent, road suspension for an r33 gtst.

Had these fit my GTST r33 I would be there in a heart beat. Damn that U bracket.

To me I see it like this and its generally true. If you are struck by the front of another car, its their fault. Look at the size of that road. If I saw someone veer to the left, no indicators as such and no indications pointing right, I am going to go straight ahead. I wouldn't need to overtake either, the size of that road is huge. I think you're onto something. My dad inspected the car and he recons the guy drove up a gutter pretty badly and caused some damage and some very minor panel damage. It looks like the structure is sound but it was evident to me the car has been in an incident. The headlight mounts are broken but the headlight in tact. Ive got the steering rack and all the components in my old car. I'm waiting for my brother to move his box and motor out of the garage so I can extract the motor from my car and get to the parts I need. Gonna get a whiteline sway bar with new mounts and replace as much rubber crap as I can.

Its a series two gtst. What are CV joints? I thought they were just on front wheel drive cars and rear wheels just have bearings at the front. I'm gonna change my sway bar links, there is too much play in them. Ill check everything is tight tomorrow. Are CV joints something I can do my self?

Ive got almost everything you need for a manual conversion. Parts are from my series 2 r33. Rb25DET gearbox $900 Exedy Heavy Duty clutch $300 1 week old(genuine Nissan) Clutch Master $150 Pedal assembly $100 Slave cylinder $50? Flywheel ??? What other parts do you need? Take the whole lot for $1300. If this stuff isn't gone by 12:01am on 8th January, its not gonna be available for this price anymore. The tailshaft and crossmember are gone. Its in Sydney, can post it via ego or transdirect. Dont PM me for inspections, its a gearbox. It looks like any other gearbox. You can come shift the gears and see it moves smoothly but unless its on a spinning motor, that doesn't mean shit.

Hey all, My R33 has been having some issues. When I reverse, I can hear a clunk noise from the passenger side front suspension/wheel area and I can feel it through the steering. If I hook the steering to one direction, it feels like something is moving, like the wheel will turn at a smooth motion then at one point it just jerks and it feels like the wheel clunked. This is really really hard to explain. originally everytime I done a U turn I would get a clunk noise which turned out to be my castor rods with broken bushes, so I replaced them with an aluminium rod. What could cause these weird symptoms? Nothing really happens when I'm driving at normal speed, its only when reversing or parking which involves alot fo wheel turning. The car has been in an accident but everything is very straight(it was minor). Could it be the sway bar? Sway bar links? The suspensions is tein coilovers. If anyone here is in Sydney and has any idea I can show you the car.

Anything can be fixed man, you just gotta narrow down the problem. I'd ask for 500 off the asking price. Pretty sure it's detectable to have a faulty cluster, but you won't be able to prove that since it's the speedo

The BOV on the crossover pipe should have been a dead give away. The plate will show its a DET motor. The cluster will show the boost gauge. The manifold is different. The obvious redirection of piping from the throttle body. I wouldn't risk it man. Its a hefty fine. You cant just remove the turbo either. Its not if the car is turbo charged or not, its what the car was registered as. If you have an NA car and bolt on a turbo, its gonna be registered as a NA car and its legal to drive, but if the cop sees the turbo you will be defected and what not.

Pretty much this. As soon as I hear rev tacho, speedo, something on the gauge not working you know its probably been tampered with. Then again, so has probably every skyline in Australia.

Only when in gear and only if I hold certain pressure. If I'm rolling down a hill a 2krpm it wont make the sound, but if I pushing up a hill at 2krpm it will make the sound. It is only if there is pressure. If I remove the BOV and fit my atmo BOV back on, the sound is gone. It made exactly the same sound in a completely different car(the exact same BOV).

I have NO idea what is causing this sound. I made a thread about it a while ago on my old car about a weird squeel at certain rpm. My new car didn't do it..... Until I swapped off the atmo BOV for the standard nissan BOV the f**king sound came back! Its like a EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE sound which will just maintain it self if I can locate the RPM its produced at. So what I mean, if the sound occurs at 2000rpm, the sound will finish as soon as I get to 2100 rpm. but if I hold 2000rpm it will keep going until i let go or go a little faster. What the hell is it? Is it a failing BOV? Is it a leak?

Front brace is gone, pfc is gone, rear brace got crumpled lol.

I'm getting a little scared now I'm hoping I can save money on the installation side... I was told its an AVO housing to suit RB20/25 motors. I should be able to get the necessary parts. Its quite lucky that I posted here, I kind of had my arse uncovered abit... Shit are you serious? Damnit f**k, I thought it was going to be compatible. Then Ill use a PFC or get a quote for an r32 ecu with the necessary mods to make it work on the r33 + tune. Shit, its gonna add up.. If someone buys my RB25det gearbox it would put $1000 in my pocket Or I am willing to trade the box for parts I can use.

I wouldn't need the spacer, well thats what I was told, as the turbo is has a different exhaust housing which will make it fit directly onto the rb25 without fouling against the rocker covers. I have factored those in as worst case. I am going to need an actuator but someone told me I can use the actuator off my skyline and just use the boost controller to take care of the extra boost. The cooler piping is my only concern. I see people running silicone bends and all this stuff, I'd really prefer to get something fabricated. I was quoted about $60 - $100 for the bends made from aluminum. Ive got all the oils and coolants already(I stock up). Whats the go with the oil drain? The standard one wont bolt onto the new turbo? They average about $8 - $30 over on eBay. I can always pick up some parts 2nd hand.

The turbo I'm getting for $1100. Braided lines apparently $75 http://cgi.ebay.com....=item4155198a0e Injectors about $700 Nistune about $700 T3 gasket and 5 bolt gasket about $60 Stud kit for turbo about $100 Its just a tad bit over $2500. Its hard to find GT3071's. I could always get a rebuild with GT3071 internals as my old turbo was the same... Too many options and seriously when you look at all the options it just confuses me. The injectors I found are 550cc top feed nismos so I would need a new rail... Ive removed and replaced my turbo on my old car a couple times. Ive removed and installed the fuel rail my self. Only thing I haven't done was install the fuel pump but there are guides for that. I think I can do the physical/mechanical work my self. I would have someone with me giving me a hand and probably also knows what they're doing so we can do it right. Denso are the ones I have heard off, pretty cheap too.

Hey all, Just need some help regarding my chase for power. Ive got basic mods at the moment(fmic, and exhaust lol). I want to run a gt3076r but internally gated and on the standard manifold to keep it looking stockish. Anyway, I need to know what else I will need. Ive done all my reading but I'm stumped on injectors. Are 550cc top feeds enough? Ive already got a bosch 040 and a nismo fuel regulator. I just need injectors. Should I go 740's? Does brand matter? I see Siemens and this other brand that starts with D going fairly cheap. Its on an Rb25 motor. Ive found the turbo I want(direct bolt into stock position). Ive set aside about 2.5k for the turbo, injectors and the tune.
