The upgrade to the GTR cradle wasn't done for a weight advantage but for a strength upgrade. I don't think anything was weighed when the conversion was done.

There is still a problem with the boost climbing to 1.6 bar and dropping off to 1.45-ish. Poor boost controller setup more likely. Now I've had a better look at the graphs as a whole and not just the boost curve, I say have a close look at the exhaust but fix up the boost curve and intake air temps too.

55 is probably a little on the cool side, mate. Most good synthetic oils should still be kept below 100degC but 55 would have me checking with the oil manufacturer for optimum operating temperatures.

Very scared of breaking a motor due to an irregular and unreliable supply of fuel. Right now the car isn't tuned on the edge so there is some leeway in the tune-up but when it gets more serious amounts of boost and timing, it'll be closer to the ragged edge and I don't fancy filling it up with fuel that has sat in a half-empty tank in the ground for months because no bastard is using the stuff yet. Fuel in drums is more consistent and that's what I need. That said, VP are releasing Roo-85 shortly.

I have in the past and will in the future give Kev a bunch of credit for tuning the arse out of rotaries that go hard and run good numbers but you won't see me talking up anyone more than my man Yavuz when it comes to turbo four-bangers. Interestingly, SDR (not SCR) had eight cars at Supernats yesterday and they were all tuned by Yavuz - proving the man knows his shit when it comes to Wankel stuff as well!!
