I Thought Slides Hiflows Hold 19psi?
2rismo replied to R33GOD's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Go to the track and come back and post your mph figure. Forget the dyno. -
I don't think so, mate. Cross that bridge when you come to it though. Tuners with the right laptop software can be quite tricky when they need to be
-
Can have one to you early next week if you get stuck but today - sorry Good luck mate.
-
If all of the values in the ignition and fuel maps are zero's it means that whoever tuned it last locked the tune so you can modify it yourself. Talk to whoever tuned it or see a reputable and experienced PFC tuner.

What boost controller are you using? Don't jump to conclusions just yet. -
They're still a DOT tyre so it makes them eligible for Keith's list at least. As much as I don't like it, that's the way the rest of the world classifies a street tyre. Drag your car keys along each of your ET Drags and get on the list yourself with another 8.40!! Adrian

It may have as I only ran a 3" exhaust but if the exhaust system was adequate to flow the total amount of gas including that being bypassed by the gate and if the wastegate pipe is merged appropriately, there's no reason why you can't have it plumbed back. I wanted it venting externally because of the wank value - nothing more. I think it makes RB's sound tough as shit but on a standard turbo? No thanks. I've heard a few of them and they sound rubbish. Maybe just bad examples, who knows...

Wrong. Do a search to find out why

How is uncle Tom these days, Paulie? And hurry the farken up and spray that biatch or John will add even more GTR parts and hunt you down!!
-
It seems that less really is more in this situation, John.
-
Hardly. Old mate claims to have two cars that run 11's and yet he doesn't have enough brains to give respect when and where it's due. Drag racing snobbery at its finest.

3250lbs and 162mph is insane - pushing 1100hp at the crank!!! -

Well done mate. 8.40 is an awesome time for any full weight GTR. Forget the prepped track, I can't wait to see what the car does with some boost in it and some weight out of it!!! Top stuff! Adrian -
That effort at Powercruise 3 was outstanding. Big shout out to Macca from Steve's Speed Shop for kickin in as well!! Your last statement is spoken like someone who knows better than to get involved with tools. Dirt Garage for the win!
-
I can't think of a worse fate, Mark!! Way to go, Pauly! Low mounts, 9's and actually finishing a pass/meeting. So few GTR's that do that these days! NICE!

Getting Rid Of Clutch
2rismo replied to jantolis's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Let me ask you a question. It's multiple choice so it shouldn't hurt too much: Which of the following has spent the past 30 or so years exclusively making clutches for some of the biggest and best known race teams in the country as well as many thousands of performance street cars? Is it: A/ You or B/ Jim Berry You are ill-equipped to comment if you haven't ordered, installed and dealt with dozens of clutches of each type. Every single clutch I've ever seen come from Jim came with a half hour (minimum) conversation about the car, the application, the expectations and the like. The service is excellent, the prices just plain shit all over brand name clutches and there are a massive number of happy customers using his gear up to and including some of the fastest and quickest race cars in the country. You've got nothing, champ. -
RPW are so good at what they do that their achievements are even discussed on a high and mighty Skyline forum.... :| How many of you posting have run an 11.9? Didn't think so...

Did someone say "Queensland trip"?

I was getting updates SMS'd in last night and when I got the 9.9 @ 137 message I was cheering out loud and pissing off everyone in a 5 mile radius! Outstanding effort guys!! Job well done. Elsie's first drag meeting and she sees daddy run a nine!!! She's gonna grow up thinking you know what you're doing Paul!!

Great work, John!! Some tweaking of the rear bouncy bits will help it leave straighter. Car sounds great. Can't wait to see it in the flesh. Adrian -
Getting Rid Of Clutch

Umm, no. Generic shit (i.e. OS etc) FTL. Jim Berry's clutches are purpose built for each application.
