  1. eboost2 comes with its own solenoid which i'm guessing was used as per the instructions. Ditch the standard ECU and that should fix your problems. Remember that Turbosmart offer free tech support and they are VERY helpful in situations like this.

    What did you run Ray?

Let me know fellas so I don't turn up to crew for 3 people and see a locked gate
  4. Yes they do champ. At cruise the AFR's are considerably leaner and as such, make for much hotter exhaust gasses. Your manifold is more likely to glow like that at part throttle and cruising than under medium to full load. Fact.
  5. The above = GT35 with 0.82 rear housing. Suggesting the T04Z is a bit silly.
  6. I've never met her before but my pic wins
  7. If anyone has noisy lifters that they're considering replacing, take my word for it that this is as cheap as chips.

  10. Rods & rod bolts - $900 Pistons kit - $1400 Studs top and bottom - $450 Head gasket - $220 N1 Oil pump - $600 New water pump, timing belt, assorted gaskets, seals and other ancillary shit - $300 Machining, balancing, grinding, skimming etc - $1500 - $3000 depending on how psycho you get Assembly - varies dramatically as well Find a machine shop that your happy with and ask them - that will give you a starting point. Others will fill in gaps i've missed no doubt.
  11. Cruise with me Jase... It's all good
  12. Andy is a great bloke and a switched on character. His stuff is very 'clever' if that makes sense?!? Good street car option IMHO.
  13. Bad Ass! Saw this engine in the car yesterday afternoon and all I can say is HOLY FARK! That's a big puppy! There was probably the best looking 32 GTR I've ever seen in the flesh - blue, T04Z, BEL Garage stickers on it - glamour! Nice work to whoever owns it.
  14. Let me just say that it would be silly to say that an Eagle rod is significantly better (or even different) to a Spool rod. I've heard nothing but glowing reports about them and I'm more than confident using them in my new motor. They sell for $890 a set on www.spoolimports.com website and come with bolts.
  15. Why don't you do a search for Niztune before posting smarta$$ advice like that Zennon?
  16. They're excellent quality for the money I'd say and they come with ARP2000 bolts. I have a set sitting here ready to use and they look the goods. With the power some workshops are creating on standard rods, these should be capable of some serious horsepower. Under a thousand bucks for a set with bolts is great value.
  17. You say my post was misleading and I say the question posed was ambiguous. Whatever. "A hell of a lot would have to blah blah blah..." It's just not so.
  18. To put it another way, that power and a 1.45 second 60 foot could run a 10.3 - 10.4 on its head. The fact that "owning a Ferrari does not a Ferrari driver make" applies to gtr owners has nothing to do with the car's potential.
  19. Sorry I missed the bit in the first post that said what tyres it would be on, who would drive it, what it would weigh, what gearbox was in it etc.... My fault - the details must have been hidden in amongst the 13 whole words in the post.
  20. lol x 1000000000000 I tried drifting once. All I'll say is, I'm REALLY REALLY bad at it. No, I'll be taking it in as in watching it. Adrian
  21. He's invisible and honestly not viewing this thread right now!
  22. 350awkw should be a low 10 if the driver has half a clue.
  23. Can't wait for this one. Will be my first major drift meeting I've taken in. See you there Boaty? Adrian
