The VG30 300ZX box is an RE403A - bigger, heavier internals but interchangeable components like valve bodies etc. MV build them, so do BMS, Wollongong Automatics and KEAS. Take your pic.

The std r33 gtst gearbox is a JATCO so how can it be stronger than one? It's a great option for what you're talking about though.

Just a quick note on the subheading of this thread... The turbo six-pots have had it all over the GTS, R8 etc for a very long time, champ.

I don't want to be taken out of context on my comment above so please allow me to clarify. I think there is something being done differently to most every other GTR that goes to the drags in some department. Whether it's just a perfectly balanced launch from an outstanding driver or some tricky suspension settings, it's incredibly rare to see a 1.3x 60' time from any street GTR and it's especially rare for it to happen on streeters. I'm not doubting the tyre choice at all when I say that I reckon there's more to it. Great job though.
