  1. They are a OEM replacement, for a cheaper cost - so no.
  2. Thread closed. Believe it or not, but since SAU started more than 7 years ago, this topic has been discussed before. Please use the search function in future. It may be found here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=search&search_in=forums While we understand that it can be frustrating to have your thread closed - Please consider that other members may feel it to be disrespectful and selfish of you to post a simple question, without using the search feature to review the wealth of information provided by said members over the years. If you still feel that this action is unjust, then please PM me and we can discuss it further.
  3. KU36s in the wet aren't great. Nor were my RS-Rs. I mean they weren't bad but compared to AD08s in the wet, it was noticeable no doubt.
  4. Power mods are illegal. http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/Licences/GetYourPs/RestrictionsOnPs/Pplatedriversandprobationaryprohibitedvehicles.htm Given the exhaust is attached to the engine, and it's all one system. However it does not say suspension, brakes etc. So those would fall under normal guidelines.
  5. The topic is about Skylines, not a Honda's!
  6. I think I'm about to put myself through some serious enlightenment... My new super-hot chilli's I've had grown... Mixed with my Tandoori Chicken... I suspect with 5 chilli's added in, I'm gonna be floating on some epic endorphins shortly

  8. Well the first half of your reply is pointless, as that's not why my englese clearly said.

  10. Indeed this is what I was thinking the other day. Wait till the cruises happen, and there is epic accident. Writing is on the wall unfortunately.
  11. Problem with ramming so much boost etc, what happens if you get a slightly average batch of fuel? There is really not enough room for error running uncontrolled fuels in street cars.
  12. I already had my head in my hands before even opening this thread Please use the search mate. It's all WELL covered. I'd also suggest reading websites like "how stuff works" to actually understand how a turbo operates.
  13. No chance that'll happen with -5s on a 2.6ltr. You'd need a stroker or 3ltr bottom end.
  14. Except Ben hasn't owned it for around 2 years. The workshop thread is generally a good place to start http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/13305-local-wreckers-and-workshops/
  15. ^ thats hardly accurate anyway. It was just ripped from the pages of this forum by someone who had no idea what he was ripping. As if upping the boost to 10psi only gives 10rwkw - thats where MOST of the gains come from.
  16. People just select the wrong turbo and then only run 16psi Or they dont have the other required supporting mods, listened to bad advice etc etc.
  17. you can get spare parts from taxi wreckers so this is no surprise!
  18. Go do 10 x 100M sprints (and i mean flat out, no holding back(, with 1-2min rest in-between. 3 days a week. If you ain't near roaring by the end of it, you aint gone hard enough. So to combat this - do some burpee's. I would recommend watching this informative explanation in HD
  19. That's not for sale
  20. $1700 p/a Insured for 40k, all mods listed. Listed as Collingwood as well. I think my excess is $1000 Shannons
  21. lol Also SAU Nationals. Biggest gathering of Skylines (and other cars) in AUS far as I'm aware. 2012s will be even larger given QLD will be coming along in big numbers
  22. There was a full thread on the car specs if you want to know more - rb29 was in the title IIRC.
  23. New update fixes the youtube problem... its a forum code issue. Also you have to upload to YouTube in hd in a certain format or they compress it to the shit and even 'hd' fails miserably
  24. It was Simon's... There was a rubber seal around the internals of the case itself. So it was the waterproof one. Was a HD2 IIRC. Not sure about holes on the back or not, didn't take notice. The Contour might sync with a iPhone, but they didn't sync with Android like Contours very own App claims it does
