I would of laughed at him if i was the Dealer, then politely tell him to leave the premises. Just because the guy decided to pay $750,000 for it doesn't mean its worth that, i reckon in todays market he would be lucky to fetch $350,000- $400,000 IF it sells. Its sad to say but he may as well throw it off a cliff if he needs the cash, because he'll get more from a insurance payout.

Yep thats what i think aswell, in the setup before that HKS had the front turbo low mounted and the back one a bit higher, guess this current setup was better with the 1/4 times. Its a shame they retired the car, Im happy for Reece and all, but this HKS car always epitomized the meaning of Drag GTR to me and always will, i hope they decide to sort out the chassis one day and bring her back out to terrorize the blacktop once again. While we are at old pics Does anyone have the wallpaper size of the HKS 33 in front of the harbor bridge for the Drag combat event, i lost it when my old pc decided to quit on me

Well as i said from day 1, we were gonna get detuned versions of the GTR and the warranty and service from Nissan wont be worth spit but i got shot down by a few guys for saying it.Looks like i was 100% correct GT-Ricer :Mate i would seek immediate advice from a solicitor and dont bother talking direct to Nissan, you have to start acting like a flamin mongrel about this for anything to happen, Good luck, i hope you get it repaired at Nissan AUS expense. edit:(LOL i didnt use flamin mongrel i used the C word, thanks SAU swear detector)

Where do you draw the line ? the HKS drag 33 had its 3540's in low mount guise and was running 7's does that make it the fastest lowmount car? What about RIPS NZ they lowmount big turbos aswell do they count? As for records being well documented that is just not true there are actually a few 7 sec GTR's that not many know about like the Duke 33 and a couple of private cars.
