  1. True, Skylines appeal to all people. My parents love driving my car, and i'm shocked to say are more leadfooted and reckless on the roads than me! My mum had a traffic light drag race the other day. I was in shock. I should be in, as long as i'm not working.
  2. It's interesting to note that article states 'Nissan Skyline' and 'Silver Honda' Why mention the make of the Nissan and not the Honda? I'm pretty sure Ten Late News did the same thing, i heard them say Nissan Skyline complete with a police officers opinion on high performance cars and inexperienced driver but i don't think the Honda rated much of a mention? True it was the Skyline that crashed but still... My condolences to the family of those involved. If they were having a race, well it's a shame but that's what happens when you go beyond your limits on public roads. You've got to face the consequences.
  3. mmm...so true. First day i got mine i fell asleep in the back of it...ahh the shame I'd love to come to one of these meets, but only being an L plater driver and unable to drive my car till late november i'd have to drag one of my middle aged parents along as well if i wanted to bring my car
  4. Im the guy who is very confused by the above posts. But anyways, welcome aboard. Nice ride by the way, gotta be happy with an Aus delivered 32, specially a black one...
  5. Not bad, but i think the exhaust needs to be shorter. The rear door handles look pretty odd though. Still, pretty damn sexy
  6. Yeah, no difference really, just a different power curve. you drive it like any other car.
  7. wait, are these plates for road registered vehicles? When i went down to the ACT government shopfront i was told that anything that isn't government issue is illegal and defectable...
  8. Can't you claim that you lost the plates and get more made up? This is in Australia though. I'm sure if you were keen the same could probably happen in Japan, claim the plates were damaged/lost then get an extra set. Only return one set. But that kinda begs the question...why...
  9. Spotted that P plater in the silver series II AGAIN today, was driving in my car (on L's ) and he went past at a roundabout. didn't get a chance to wave. Also spotted 20 seconds after that a silver series I, gave a wave but didn't get one back
  10. Spotted that silver SII R33 on P plates outside the Hyperdome today, being a dick i yelled out 'Nice Skyline' and he hammered it up the road. Very nice car.
  11. Was out driving today on the road near Tharwa and a maroon mitsubishi (no idea what model) flashed their lights at me as i went past... didn't look at the driver though. was it anyone here?
  12. yeah, nice chop...if you look at the wooden poles though through the car you can see it's a chop. Still good tho!
  13. I know it's not a line, but spotted a silver Stagea parked in Guilfoyle house in Tuggers... only saw the butt of it but it looked hot! mmmm... **drools**
  14. Today tonight is utter crap. If there is anyone here who hasn't watched Frontline i strongly suggest you do!
  15. Spotted last night, near Arnolds in Tuggers car park, a silver R33 Series II, chrome wheels and red S badge. looked pretty neat. Today spotted another Silver SII going past the round about near Bunnings. P plate on the back window. Nice.
  16. True they're Japanese plates, but how hard would it be to make our plates 25mm shorter? Honestly? is that too much to ask? obviously it is. one size, unless you want to get custom plates. Why make them slimmer and not shorter? that makes no damn sense.
  17. yeah, and what was with the last pic on that resistor item? Seriously? what does that have to do with anything?
  18. the 'Slimline plates' are a joke IMO. i went to get some today but found they're the exact same width as regular plates (i.e 372mm i think, the slot on my car is only about 350mm) Worst part is the only way to get a shorter width plate is to pay $627 (this is the ACT by the way) for custom plates! What a joke! you can't have a standard number plate made shorter... and by the way, cutting them is illegal but go figure, the people down at the shopfront had NO IDEA about bent plates. Guess i'm just going to have to bring the plate forward. This is bloody stupid though, they should be able to make the plates shorter instead of stuffing around and paying $627 odd dollars for something i didn't want in the first place.
  19. LOL, gotta love black. I just lucked out with my colour though, i really had no preference, but i gotta admit, glad i got that colour... mmm... so sexy
  20. That is SO biased of you! You're only saying that cause you own a black S2... lol, jokes. i think ANY Skyline looks hot in black...
  21. Spotted a Maroon series I R33 going up Pockette avenue, i was coming back from Tharwa...the black 33 with L plates
  22. Not too keen on the back of it, but that thing looks SWEET side on and from the front. I'm with Leigh though, ditch the stripes.
  23. Full sick Escort GT-R bro. Werd.
  24. Did FTO's ever come out with a turbo engine? I was reading in some random car mag about an FTO owners club cruise, and they had a run down on a few of the vehicles, and one or two were listed as turbo and looked pretty stock aside from exhaust.
  25. It's been said by a few people now, but optimax makes me exhaust smell a bit off. I use Ultimate
