  1. that's odd, the only manual in my car was all in Japanese... perhaps the guy i bought my car off supplied it with one to pass at rego and then kept it afterwards. wouldn't be surprised as this was his third?/fourth? skyline he's imported.
  2. I bet it's a 1/4 mile beast
  3. That's horrible! That car looks like a beaten up pile of junk... poor skyline.
  4. a headlight for $300 doesn't sound too bad. My dad clipped the mirror on his Verada (up market magna ) 2001 model or something, replacement mirror is over $400 and thats not painted or fitted... it depends who you go through though.
  5. hehe, i owe you one Andrew! yeah, it only takes one bad skyline driver to make the rest of us look bad. I will keep an eye out for both cars...
  6. Sorry but i think it looks awful! Interesting concept though.
  7. if someone actually bought that...how would you move it...anywhere?
  8. spotted a gunmetal grey R33 series 1 heading through Banks... my dad was driving though and he didn't wave. Anyone here?
  9. Yeah, exactly. It seems a bit hypocritical. small pins verse large lump in bonnet...i know what i'd rather be hit by. Veilside...LOL!
  10. I have a question though, bonnet pins may harm a pedestrian... then is it legal to have those...i dunno...scoop like things you see on old fords and holdens...dont know the technical term, but they stick up right out of the middle of the bonnet... if small pins are illegal then how do they justify those things? (hope someone knows what im talking about )
  11. a 17 year old with an R33 Series 2 Skyline? Hey mate, me too! do you have an alarm in it?
  12. I have a Cusco installed on my R33...no problems and it's pretty close...check my gallery for pics
  13. Elders told me you had to be over 25 to insure a vehicle with them... you can't be the policy holder but you can be NAMED on the policy. Perhaps if you can put it under a parents name...?
  14. True, i got an alarm fitted in my car the other day (wont go into details) and while it's not a bad system i didn't go for the best on the market, there just seemed no need. There are some simple ideas that might make your car less attractive for thieves, such as garaging it at home, and parking next to more expensive looking cars in shopping centres lol
  15. Bare in mind that you may need extra money to fix stuff that goes wrong, particularly on a 15 year old car. I mean, i only got my '96 R33 last week and already i've had to replace a battery, get a timing belt changed, have my injectors cleaned (or something...) and have a broken castor bush replaced... make sure you have extra cash to cover things like this!
  16. that R34 front looks good on the Stagea but i think that one really needs a bigger exhaust to match that agressive front
  17. FWD? ok...ah... why the hell did nissan do that? They took a good car and... crappified it... Sorry, don't mean that in a bad way, just that i find it rather stupid to change a car that was good in the first place. Anyways, good luck with it mate, you chose a good engine for the conversion
  18. Isn't the 240SX pretty much the same chassis as our 180SX?
