  3. great battle there. interesting to see the different handling characteristics. GTR killing it out of the corners but Audi has great mid corner balance and speed. what tyres were you guys running?

  7. ta Richo, can run a bit more camber I think. not sure about the rates. they are Ohlins and the springs have these numbers: Front: 63400J1 38,04 Rear: 63400J2 38,04 I am guessing they are 4kg/mm could this be right? got no google joy on these. also what do you mean by rake? is this castor? how much do you run?
  8. nice lap Richo, that tyre howling was a bit off putting wasnt it. you could hear it from the pits. only slicks didnt howl obviously. well i reakon new tyres + new surface means some further supension tuning for me appreciate any feedback I suspect front springs rate need to go up as I already have whiteline roll bars front and rear, neg 2.5 Fr and neg 1.5 R ?? thanks go to SDpics.com for the pics
  9. yes good day at the island. great to catchup with all the SAU lads as usual. new surface is super smooth and quite a few pb's today I think! overheard a conversation from the winkleporker porsche garage "theres a datsun doing 44's!" hilarious!
  10. I have full lock rubbing on the right front guard liner only: 18 x 9.5 +12 with 265 x 40. I know this is a chunky tyre but I had minor rubbing with 265 35's as well. rubs on the blowoff valves so have replaced the bolt with a dome head so it doesnt grab. its weird the left front doesnt rub at all just wondering if others have this on the right front only? is that normal?
  11. good jacks those ive got one to. Have never really needed to go much higher but If you need to. get it on the stands and then go again with a big block of wood (make sure its stable)
  12. thanks but just bought 265 AD08s maybe when these are gone I will revisit it. would be good to go 285 or 295

  19. Entry sent! ready for some of that silky smooth PI goodness
  20. No worries I will supply the M6 bolts that bolt the extinguisher bracket to the seat bracket. Then you reuse the factory seat bolts. All you need to bring is the extinguisher with its own metal bracket.
  21. Going to bring some of these to Sandown this Sat 22nd if anyone needs one? $90 Just look me up before scrutineering, i will be there early and can help with install to. cheers, Joe
  22. Hey 32 GTR owners, maybe we can do a three way deal if your serious about TE37s? I am looking to upgrade to 10 1/2. Currently have 18 x 9 1/2 + 12 bronze TE37S. similar condition. 2002 MY. these would be ideal on a 32 yeah? If interested pm and we can work a deal where I buy Owgasms wheels and you buy mine?
  23. Yes that type of seat rail lever is a problem. only option is to do what Daniel did ^: slide the seat forward to where you want it and put the extingusiher in location check clearance to your legs so it doesnt anoy you when driving. measure/mark out how far you will need to extend the bracket cut and drill (6mm dia) a flat plate/s (3 - 4 mm Aluminium or steel) to bolt to the front of the bracket and then to the fire extinguisher (leave plenty of material around the holes 15 - 20mm) Bolt it in and check clearances in your driving position Take it out and hit with satin black spray can or not. It wont be as rigid as when not extended but will still be strong in the direction it needs to be (deceleration) and look tidy. Its not ideal but alot easier than fabricating the entire bracket as the angle and different heights of the seat bolts are a pain to get lined up. If there was say 10 people want the extension plates I could get some universal ones made up but other wise not economical. hope this helps!
