  5. I have a used Power FC Handset/controller (not the ecu) for sale. Serial Number FCC3030-17451. Plugged it into a R33 Gts-25t Power FC equipped car and no problems i.e. compatible. Price $250 ono + postage. Pick-up from Sydney western suburbs or I can post. Or will swap for a handset/controller compatible with Mazda RX7 Series 8 Power FC Serial number PFCFD3S6010-1534. I don't have a ecu to handset/controller cross-reference table/chart so I don't know what the correct handset/controller serial number would be. Any questions feel free to email [email protected] as I'm only on SAU periodically. V
  6. Same here. Stock SR20DET airbox needed. Willing to pick up anywhere in Sydney.
  7. Hi guys. Long time no post. Was wondering if there is a APEXi Power FC repairer in Sydney that could take a look at a WRX GC8 EJ207 2000 unit. A friend of a friend's unit karked it and he was hoping to get it fixed before forking out for a new one. Thanks guys.
  8. I can't believe there is no interest for the price. This is no backyard shonk conversion, it's the real deal
  9. All the details are here: http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/...rch_distance=25 Rego and if need be, engineering, can be arranged for the purchaser. Just call 02 9756 0362 and ask about the car.
  10. I have a used S15 200sx exhaust for sale, from turbo to tip. Was done by Liverpool exhaust ~2 years ago. It includes, 1) Dump pipe wrapped in heat lag 2) Catalytic converter 3) 3 inch piping 4) Single Apexi Muffler. Pics can be found here: http://svd.customer.netspace.net.au In Sydney only. Looking for $475. PM or email [email protected] if you are interested
  11. I have a used AVO stage 2 intercooler kit suitable for a S14a or S15 200sx. It includes, 1) Repaired Stage 2 bar and plate Intercooler core. 2) Piping/hoses to replace existing turbo compressor outlet pipes and post intercooler pipe. The core has been damaged before and repaired (tig welded) by a radiator shop. Afterwards it was pressure tested to 15psi and got the all OK. Pics can be found here: http://svd.customer.netspace.net.au In Sydney only. Looking for $325. PM or email [email protected] if you are interested.
  12. What, a 500 shot of gas? lol Adrian, I've got some units going cheap ex-mil stock
  13. Even if you allow for a one run shot with the stock bottom end (might survive one pull with that power) there is no way on this planet that the stock head/cams/valve springs/valves is going to let it happen. Either that or they are using the anti-inertial dampers found on all low km UFO's fitted with gravity drives...
  14. Ditch the cam gears and put the $ towards bigger cams and valve springs. When you change cams make sure: 1) It's a big enough difference ie. 272 degrees + 2) You use a matching set of upgraded valve springs. Otherwise looks like a good combo which should set the 4 doughnuts ablaze
  15. Some simple backyard calcs show that 240rwkw from this turbo is about all you will get with his current set up. Remember the original emissions cams, weak valve springs, inlet and outlet plenums are still used which means the breathing potential of the engine is not altered from a stock set up. Typical 200rwkw rb25det needs 12psi. Add in 15psi of atmo pressure and your absolute pressure ends up being 27psi. His car knocked out 240rwkw. Difference in power is an additional 20%. So it takes approx. 20% more absolute pressure to get that power if all other variables remain the same ie. Stuff mentioned above. So we get 20% on top of 27psi which equals 32.4 absolute or ~17-18psi (1.2 bar) gauge. Throw in your usual dyno corrections, tuning parameters, alignment of jupiter to the sun and there you have it. Although you might squeeze in another 10rwkw if you had a butcher for a tuner and didn’t mind swapping engines every year
  16. Nissan Skyline R32 Gts-t Complete shell for sale (Navy Blue) Excellent condition. GTR Bonnet No driveline (not rolling ie. no diff, driveshaft or front/rear axels) It cannot be registered or complied since it is a 1991 model. However, it would be ideal for a race car. $2900 ono Location - Sydney Contact (02) 9756 0362 for more details as PM's/posts aren't usually checked.
  17. Dude 420hp at crank is around 310kw. Lose 15% to rear wheels and there you have your 285rwkw. Turbo is out of puff. Time to get a GT35R on and some 272's (with springs)
  18. Don’t forget the valve springs champ (especially for higher boost)
  19. There have been reported cases in Soarer Twin Turbo’s where the stock ceramic turbo’s have popped and the engine inhaled small fragments of the turbine wheel. Not a pretty picture when the piston tries to squash some super hard ceramic pieces against the head. It’s only speculation, but exhaust gas reversion and the lightweight nature of the ceramic materials are the causes suspected as to how the pieces make their way into the combustion chamber.
  20. Have to agree with the spiel about the stock springs Roy. It’s pointless going for baby cams due to little increase in power. Same story with big cams and stock springs, just doesn’t cut it when you are trying to pack in 20+psi boost. Something like a RB20 needs 272’s all round with matched springs. Don’t **** around mixing and matching some custom combo when Tomei and HKS sell cam/springs ready to go. If you are going to modify it, taking half measures just won’t do when it comes to something as important as the head. You have a good turbo kit so take advantage of that and the willingness of the rb20 to rev it’s nut off Get some biggish cams/springs and you won’t be disappointed.
