    maby even do like a comparison with the valves and springs sit a new valves next to a old valve and vice versa with the springs show ppl the differences

    new head is down in newcastle about to start gettin the head work done... new valves retainers and springs are in and ready to be installed. am very keen to see a photos of these fancy double springs u speak of paul?

    well put it this way.... i trust paul with building this engine correctly the way he see's fit.... he knows that if the block cracks he will be getting a bad rep... and both me and him know he doesnt want that. for instance look at how fussy hes been with the head. he didnt want it leaving till it was spot on due to the fact of it was his rep that would turn to shit otherwise. but i left it all upto him so it was his choice to do.

    mate the 26 and 25 bolts as far as i know are exctly the same and the 25 and 26 backing plates are slightly different in thickness depends on starter motor i think... could possibly be the same i havent really checked... lol anthony at the same time i like that

    hahahaha u know me to well already paul..... thnx mate. i watched an ignition dvd 2nite of u and ur car finally lol so ur misses can drive better then most of the boys of this forum huh lol quick question are the rings supplied are they file fit or.....?? hopefully will get the head in the mail on wednesday so look out lol

    yes paul exactly right. i had a used block here and as usual i changed my mind and brought an n1 to chuck it into instead. i could have used the 86.5mm pistons but it still would have needed an 20thou overbore either way i had no choice.
