  1. Sorry, can't edit, but that seems to be the G sensor and is under the blanket of Anti skid control. Maybe see if you can swap one over with a working car. Its a pain that its not throwing any codes.

  3. So did they read any codes off the ABS ecu, or just the engine ECU? They are two separate things. Quick reminder of the symptoms? car is in rwd only and doesn't operate in awd, and has ABS error light, right? If you were in sydney, I'd just say bring it round and i'll check for codes for you, but its not that easy I guess.

  8. Yeah, 13.84 at 99.98......FUUUU.... Wish it said 100. Funny enough, my 14.8 single spinner still went over 100mph. Was in rwd. Will go back in awd fr some launch action.
  9. Well Scott's did 13.9 with more power. It's getting the barges off the line that counts. I have no doubt he would demolish mine in a roll on. Hope you can stall it up with boost. Will be fast if you can.
  10. Wagzilla! Icwatyoudidthere. Drawing skills much better than mine. I think the lower one is better, but I'm far from a style expert! I think it would look less gape-y. Maybe some little vents in the bottom sides to vent things like tranny coolers?

  12. Its also a product of the Transgo kit as you guys know. Where it doesn't drop into gear is when you are on part throttle or light throttle, and if you are using manual, it will take quite a while to pick up the next gear. I could tune this out, but it would mean slightly harsher shifts on auto which really there is no benifit. If you put your foot down, then it shifts up when you ask.
  13. It's pretty much instantaneous Leon. Only gear I have to think about is 1-2 which feels like a 500rpm lag. Other than that it's pretty much on the dot, say 200rpm. That's the benefit of being able to adjust the torque management tables in uprev.

  15. Indecisive much? That eBay LSD looks shit. Can't even figure out how it works. Just looks like it locks the diff. Buy a 350z or v35 manual pumpkin with the vlsd already in it. Then you get a useful final drive ratio modification too. Be cheaper than that too, once fitted You will need better brakes. You will need some form of suspension upgrade. You will need good tyres, not china spec. Otherwise IMO its just dangerous.
  16. Figures can be changed by a mod. Rudi has a pb of 14.1 in the quarter My entry into quarter in pnm35 is a 13.8
  17. 14.4 was the VE. Wasn't stock. Goes ok I guess for a 6. Can't wait to see what it does when I can actually launch it awd, not trickle off the line. Will have to wait a little while.
  18. Tell you the truth I thought it was shit. I knew the other guy was a VE v6, and it was line ball right to the end. I thought I'd only go 14.x Wasn't as fast as other runs, because I think I held 3rd too long. Was shifting at 6k, because there is no more power over that, I was into 4th every time before the line.

  21. ^^^^ what he said. On your number one point, no its not hard. Just expect to reach deep into your pockets. If you can do work yourself, and do some research into it, Rather than just taking whatever is in a kit, then it works out much cheaper. Remember, gtrs have their failings too. You might go get one, and spin a bearing in your first week. Hello 8k basic rebuild. Cost for cost, once and engine rebuild is taken into account the V will not disgrace itself against a gtr in a straight line. It doesn't have the benefit of awd, but it is also more comfortable and easier to drive IMO. And you'll never end up with oil in the rockers in a vq!
  22. Maybe Gleesons car overheated? Don't know the circumstances, but faulty clutch fan and over heat? Might have been suspect from Japan too. Good work Scotty. Seems to make good power. Good quick trouble shooting too.
  23. Thanks Dale. Rudi, I parked up and went to watch some cars. Those ford turbos really boogy. The PAC rotor was good to watch too. It was a great feeling reeling people in down the track. The start was slow, but all the cars I raced I reeled in down the track. Just the feeling like it was over so quick too.
  24. There is no certain way to just tell if they will fit. You can either take a wheel and fit it on a gtr you find to see if it fits, or lay the brakes down inside the wheel and try that way. We can't say offset of + 20will fit, because it's mostly about the spoke shape. They will fit over the brakes ok, it's just the spoke clearance you should check. Good price too.
  25. Couldn't find you after Rudi, you must have Taken off. Well done on the pb. For the first time, it was a steep learning curve! I lol'd at myself for doing single spinner burn outs. Oh well. 1st run was a 13.96 at 100 mph so I was happy to be in the 13s / 100s right away. Nice feeling. Second run was a mass of wheel spin off the line and a 14.8 lol. Tried too much stall. Last and best run was a 13.84 at 161km with a 2.2 60 foot. Found that I could only launch with a bees dick worth of boost, like1psi. Otherwise it was just instant single tyre frying! Look forward to getting the front shaft in and shooting for a 13.5.
