yeah when the event thread pops up and if you can come to texi or any other event for that matter, ask around in there for someone to bring there consult cable and laptop, (or you can buy it for 100 bucks) its a cable and program that plugs into your car and tells you lots of stuff, for example your fuel to air ratio, it checks all your sensors and monitors about 15 things. id be looking at your afm and try cleaning that with some afm cleaner or alike, and also your oxygen sensor thats on your dump pipe (just after your turbo on the start or your exhaust) they seem to be common 'faults' of our cars to make fuel econ shitty. hope this helps mate

It's so strange for me. Where I'm from every weekend a car club would cruise up the main street along a foreshore and park up near a light house. I'm talking imports to 1960 hotrods With blowers out of the bonnet and everything in-between and there's alot more cops down there. Is everyone just paranoid around here or what cause I've never even been breath tested in 6 months since being here! I think it's alot less sus driving slowly through a public place early Sunday Arvo and getting a feed, then meeting in some boring cold ass carpark at 10:00 on a Saturday night. Gotta remember we are still human beings and meeting up isnt illegal... I don't know what the difference is between you driving by yourself or with 15 people.

20k for a 180?? wowza! i dont have any personal experience, but ive heard you can get 3 quotes or just leave it to the insurance company, but they will usually go with the cheapest quote, you can say who you want to go with but its not 100%. thats what ive heard. gooluck with the hunt.

hmm have thought of that, i was thinking i could call them and give them a heads up what were doing and theyd either A, be ass holes, pull us all up, and give a few defects or, B, check up on us a few times and let us meet a few new people. Honestly i think cops in newy are pussy cats, theres hardly any of them and they never look at me twice. go to the illawarra if you think there are alot of cops here haha. youll see 5-10 at 3pm on a friday afternoon in a matter of 10 mins.

yeah that would be me, probably gunna try and get a meet going for jdm cars at the start of june. (all different forums incl.) dont see heaps of SAU members in newy but plenty of wrxs evos supras etc. at the end of the day its all the same shit keep your eyes in the event section (will only be from wallsend or alike into newcastle and maybe end at honey suckle for a quiet afternoon beer and chatting or something, no point driving around with strangers for hours on end)

dont be to worried about someone taking kms off your odo, every non gtr is probably in the 200k kms just do what everyone seems to do and buy a new odo, rack up 70,000 kms and when you want to sell it polish it. mint condish bro.

Yeah the ST doesn't have them but STL and up does. Versas have some cool looking kits available. Not sure if the standard ones come with the one I saw. Still... Can't be envious of USA.
