  2. Received yesterday. Thanks Richard and Marcus !!
  3. Looks awesome Richard. Received an e-mail from Marcus this morning, should receive mine early next week. Thanks to yourself and Marcus for organising this, great work.
  4. Richard, Please let us know how you get on with this?? Thanks Scott
  5. Yeah, sounds like you need to replace the switch. I had a similar problem with my car. Replaced the switch, and now all OK.
  6. Can i please get a price on Oil cooler kit with relocation for a BNR32, posted to WA, 6030. Thanks
  7. I went through the same thing a year or so ago. I ended up getting a BNR32 due to racing heritage in Aus. and I actually prefer the look of the R32 over the R33. I believe the R33 has superior rear leg room, but the R32 has sufficient rear leg room for my kids. both the BNR32 and BCNR33 have air con!!
  8. The floodgates have opened, let the hating begin.
  9. I would use Loctite thread sealant, but I come from an industrial type background rather than automotive, but this would definitely do the trick. There is a section on this web page where you can ask them exactly what type they recommend for your application, or you can just read up on the thread sealant types and see which suits http://au.iloctite.com/en/loctite-thread-sealant Good luck
  10. Yeah, as stated above, engine bay colour doesn't necessarily match the car exterior colour. I have a silver R32 GTR, but the engine bay colour is a light, dull grey, nothing like the car's silver exterior.
  11. A few pics of my car
  12. My bad, the pics posted above of the steering wheel and colum were from BWRGTR. When you pull off your steering wheel boss, the steering wheel sensor should still be in place, mine was. The reason a HICAS boss is used, is so that the steering wheel sensor still works with an aftermarket steering wheel. Good luck
  13. Richard, This is the steering wheel position sensor, you don't need or want to remove this. You posted a picture further up in this thread of a steering wheel, and a steering wheel colum. (white gauge cluster in the background) Is this your car?? If so, all you need to do is remove the horn button from the steering wheel, connect the plug (which is for the horn), ensure front wheels are straight, and put steering wheel on straight. Apply washer, tighten up nut which holds steering in place. Apply horn, done. I recommend applying a little grease or CRC/WD-40 to the tapered part of the steering wheel to aid in getting the steering wheel off a bit easier in future. Is there any reason why you think that the steering wheel will not go straight on?? It looks like it will to me if the pics above are of your car.
  14. Richard, you have a late model steering wheel, which is the one you require for your car. No boss required. Not sure if this totally answers your question
  15. Here are some pics, sorry about the quality
  16. Not two grand, only one . You only need both pieces, of which I have supplied the part numbers. (One left and one right) Just find someone wrecking a GTR and buy theirs if they are in good condition. I will take a picture soon and post to show you what they look like.
  17. These things are bloody expensive, replaced mine new from Nissan about 6 months ago. The part you are pointing to is also connected to the rubber piece above your finger. It is all mounted on a slim piece of metal which runs across the top of the frame and also runs down the side. To replace, you need to pulll out the rubber weather shield which sits just inside of this. This will then give access to the screws which hold the thin metal strip and rubber/plastic pieces in place. I have my old ones here which are in good condition, but i am in Perth, where are you located. If you are not in Perth, look at who is currently wrecking BNR32s near to you and buy one of theirs. Part numbers are (not sure which is left or right) NI-76870-04U00 (RRP about $450) S Mould roof NI-76871-04U00 (RRP about $650) S mould roof don't ask me why one side is $200 more than the other, Nissan couldn't explain either. I didn't pay this much as I can get stuff abit cheaper through Nissan Good luck
  18. Mate, you should put some more pics up !!
  19. Nissan still sell them new if you get one side, but not the other. Not that much more than the fibreglass copies. I just bought a set about 2 weeks ago.
  20. I ordered the seals which are fitted to the door, and also the ones fitted to the car and contact the door windows, at the same time. From the description on my receipt, I can't really differentiate between the two types of seals. RRP for each is either $240 or $211 depending on which one you are after.
  21. Nissan. I bought new door rubbers/ seals from them about 6 months ago. No doubt they can get the windscreen seals aswell.
  22. I grabbed one of these off Fatz. Looks really good, good quality welding etc. Polished it up and fitted a new twin turbo badge. Thanks Fatz !!
  23. Does anyone have a NISMO key blank to suit an R32 GTR collecting dust in their cupboard, that they want to part ways with?? It will be going to a good home and will be well looked after. If so, please PM me. Thanks Scott
  24. Yeah, you can slip it like a stock clutch to get it off the line, My last clutch you had to build up revs and dump to not stall.
