    Yep, a couple of Sierras running....... in fact i saw the Peter Jackson liviered one parked on the back of an old truck up the road from my house on the saturday night, on a main road!...... they're game, because it was something like a mid 80's Ford Trader, and not a good one. I reckon you could have pulled the door open and used anything to turn the key! haha

    Would having a small, say, 1/2 to one inch spacer made between the manifold and turbo housing help your clearance issue?

    Ahh ok, cool. Lots of weight saved with that setup. Since it is evidently going to be quite a serious drag car, you could really just ditch oil cooling altogether, with a large-ish capacity dry sump system you'll have more trouble getting it up to temp (get a tank heater) than keeping it cool.

    GTi is quite a bit slower in a straight line. What the Fark does a Mondeo turbo diesel have to do with this thread? Mondeo's are synonomous with zero resale value.

    Much more authentic lol Although, I will say, for this level of build I would personally opt for a PWR radiator with built in engine oil cooler. It's much neater to plumb, weighs less, cools FAR more efficiently, warms the oil better, and is neater and easier to work around. Did I mention it's better?

    FWIW, i was kind of involved with one of the quicker GTR drag cars here several years ago when 9's were fast, and it used a std crank. At one point we returned 3 brand new cranks to Nissan's parts department because we crack tested them all prior to installing them. Each one of those brand new factory cranks had a flaw or crack. Not a problem at 500hp, but certain to be a serious issue over 1,000.

In all seriousness though, you list a Trust brand oil cooler..... looking through your pics quickly, I have grave doubts that what you have there is in fact a Trust..... It looks to me more likely that someone has been making some Trust badges. Mate, that oil cooler is about as China as I've seen.

    Blah blah next time Seriously though, when I'm at BBQ's and spruking about "achievments", I risk inducing nausea and tell folks that yes, we came 18th outright, but in fact we were third in our Class! haha (Just saying 3rd sounds heaps better though ) Anyhoo, sorry to botch up your R35 thread mate.

    I've just read you sig Snowy! lol You'll be bloody hard to beat in an R35 at Targa Tasmania mate, considering in a dirty old R34 you came 2nd this year, and 4th at Targa High Country last year! LMAO... what's with that!? And how does Herridge feel about it?

    This is some video of last year of the R32 and R34 of Giant's. Not sure why it's only surfaced now. That RB26 sounds awesome The 34's sound (the RB30) has stepped up now with the addition of external wastegate, I'm sure most who heard it come past the tower this year would agree is sounds great. I can't post this without saying, Hollinger in-line Sequential box box, FTW!

    I don't understand why the Little Man doesn't give more of a shit than he does about F1.... not just the revenue that can be gained from it. After all, even if he were to stop obtaiing wealth from this day forward he's hardly going to be hort a quid is he! I understand that for a lot of uber-rich, making money becomes a bit of a game, kind of like Mob Wars on Facebook.
