    there is a possibility. but you really need to ask a differential technician. IRS and live axle....shouldnt make a difference...it is the center he is talkin about not the housing.

    as far as i know the gearbox xmember will accept the rb20 box, and you only have to slot the drivers side engine mount 10-15 mm......but my memory sux so i may be wrong. I am currently fitting an RB30 to my second coupe. so ill let you know how that goes

    those carbs also came out on the xd/xe falcons....parts SHOULD be fairly cheap.

    id go th e 2.4 navara option....but stick one of those cheaps as chips toyota supershragers on it...prolly cost a grand to get set up properly....instant torque.
