stuart wilkins motorsport have longer wheel studs for nissans, the ones i got are 12 mm longer than stock. (SWM is in sydney)

I am currently fitting an Rb30 to my C210 coupe, so I'll let you all know how it goes. rb25det head when i get it and hopefully a T51R-SPL....should be fun

Any car that requires the gearbox to be taken out to remove the turbos is a bastard of a car to work on. end of story.

Update...new timing chain cover was in order, and i also bought a speedmaster hi flow, semi hi-rise manifold. pics-----fitting piston rings... And new timing chain cover and water pump.

the only thing he was correct on is the sticker, if your wipers hit it it is illegal(supposedly) the rest.....pod needs to be in a sealed box, but does NOT have to be solid mounted to the body. fan shround should be there, but it is not a legality thing. the tool doesnt know shi7.

Sucks to be your brother then, because i put my heads in to be machined, i got them back the next day. Then i put the block in on wednesday to be bored and have the new pistons fitted to the rods......picked it up on friday, all work completed. All work was done by the time he said it would be ready. I will definately be going back there.

number 7 bore is far too pitted and scored(pic 1 and 2) to hone out, so the block has to be sent to Trapnell Race Engines to be bored out another 20 thou(total of 60) dammit, now i need to take the rings back and get bigger ones,AND buy pistons....not happy jan. pics 3 and 4 are the valve spring compressor i made, because the one that i bought bent when i tried to use it. Damn aftermarket double valvesprings. meh......to be continued.....

1st pic is the v8 short motor just after i removed it from the engine bay( i only just thought of takin pix at this stage) 2nd is the empty engine bay....lots of room hey 3rd is one stripped and cleaned cylinder head 4th is the inlet port, nicely cleaned up... 5th is inlet port from valve side ..... the plan was just to give the cylinders a hone, fit the new rings, bearings, cam and lifters, reseat the valves and throw it all back in, but....

Do the axles fit like this, or are they like the old 1600 styles with the 5 bolts holding the axles seals in place? also do you know if i can fit the old style axles into this type of diff?....bugger it ill give it a go anyway..BTW my R200 simple spinner only cost me 100 bucks(no axles tho)it came from an r31

I am in dire need of an engine crane for a day or two...anyone knowing where i can borrow one from will get passenger duties in the first cruise the V8sigmaline goes on.(and maybe a carton of your fav drink) i need this ASAP... am willing to hire from someone but not from a shop unless i really have to, as they arent cheap thanks ppl....
