  1. HB that is all.
  2. mine(well one of them) is exactly like it I dyno'ed mine for a laugh and got 69.8rwkw, the figure you quoted is measured at the flywheel. convert this to Kw and you get 105.89, take around a third from this(drivetrain loss)and you get 70.59rwkw Where are you located? i have a spare grill and headlights(the round ones) if your keen to lose the squares. i like the square lights. short answer for the turbo question is yes. they came out in japan with turbos. but if your going to go to that much trouble id go one small step further and fit an RB20DET, good engine and very easy to get hold of.
  3. no, its not. he just described an MGC210 sedan.
  4. shouldnt hurt not running the TPS. at most u will use a bit more fuel. i think it is mainly for making the auto kick back a gear, when u nail it.(not the only way it does it tho)
  5. my bad, i was still thinking carby versions..... /slaps self
  6. dont see why not. if you also want to use the r32 booster(brakes) iirc thats a bolt on for r30's i had to mod the bottom two holes about 5mm each to make it fit the C210, so at most thats all you'd need to do for yours. providing it doesnt just slot in, of course.
  7. I wasn't disputing that fact, obviously you CAN'T read. Dodgy connections will NOT give a higher reading than what the battery is putting out.
  8. I used r31 gear, but i had to grind a little bit from the bell housing so that the slave cylinder bolts up flush. Nothing a trained monkey couldnt do though.
  9. Can any of you lot read? he states that the engine is turning over but not starting. Make sure it is getting fuel, and spark. if it has both of these let me know.
  10. water temp sensor has nothing whatsoever to do with the way your car runs. have you changed the lead that goes from the coil to the distributor? could also be a faulty coil.
  11. meh....everyone wants to be me..... v8skylines are boring......wanna buy mine?

  13. look in my gallery, all the c210 pics you'll ever need. and ive got more than that.
  14. thats like trying to find a specific white excel.... or a needle......in a haystack or specific grain of sand, on a beach or a , well you get the drift, good luck anyway Jason
  15. I dont think strutto has his mojo anymore
  16. The quiet mumblings of a wanker.
  17. There is no need for an engineers plate(afaik) because r32 did come out with an rb25 as well. but, that being said, i would recommend it anyway, make it look more legit and less likely to be picked on for mods if its been done right, and approved. as for the rb26conversion.....that is a great engine to throw into a gts-t....untill you break it, then you'll wish you got a 25....they are soooo much cheaper to fix/replace. 6k would get you a weapon 25, or a stock 26... also with the 25 you can use most if not all the boltons you already have...with the 26 you are starting from scratch.
  18. what xmember did you use to fit the rb into the 120? ive wanted to do this conversion for quite a while
  19. you will need headlights including all brackets grille the chromes from the front of the guards(its different) the indicator lamps for the front bumper the headlight repeaters(on top of the guard) are also different, in the c211 model they used optical fibre...the c210 ones are just a chunk of semi clear plastic
  20. you need a wooden block to jam between the chain guide and the other side of the chain....i cant remember the dimensions off the top of my head, but im sure i could find it again if you need me to. just make sure you put a hole in the top of it and thread some wire thru, so you can pull the bloody thing out.....found that out the hard way.
  21. sticky valve, or blown head gasket.....ive had this problem a few times.....id be changing the head gasket, you get the bonus of getting to check out the bores while the head is off... do a compression test first tho, just to be sure a sticky valve will still fire, it just wont make any power from that cylinder.....and will appear to smooth out at higher revs
  22. you COULD always get you r30 platforms welded to the s13 struts....
  23. you can get your strut towers machined to accept a platform similar to a coilover setup....but if you have a look the platform on r30's is basically as low as it can be anyway....your ONLY options are lowered springs.....and coilovers. lowered springs with matching shocks is fine and can handle great, you just need to get a decent branded set....i would not recommend pedders(bad experience) as for brakes i think that early magna disks are the right offset? and use 4pot hilux calipers(or 75series Landbruisers)
  24. what he said ^^
  25. Merry Christmas and a Happy new year toone and all, ill see you all again when i get back from Tamworth (grumble mutter mutter grr etc)
