  1. Easiest way to do it, go to bunning, buy that flexible pipe stuff and run it from ur front bar to the air filter, cable ties FTW lol
  2. I noticed no less responce, end of the day theres still air in the piping and in an n/a u never have to build up positive pressure either! My air-filter was as good as the day i bought it, id say if it did get wet the water would clean the thing bahahahah Also how funny would it be someone tryin to stick thier hands in some small vent in ur front bar un-doing tiny screws to get at your pod filter. If they managed to get to the screws they deserve the bloody thing lol! I think they'd prefer to go to supercheap and get one for $20 I had to have it custom made as there isn't a kit for the car bud. Personally i thought it was great and as i said there's one going on my r34 as we speak!
  3. Works great for heat soak on motors. You'll find you can sit in traffic and it won't feel heat soaked so much! I had a polished pipe on my 32 gtst and on boost it didn't make much difference, i think i gained 5hp peak power (mind you i was runnin 20psi on a bigger turbo so less on standard turbo and even less on n/a motor) but as i said down low and on those hot days sitting in traffic the motor seemed alot happier. I had it positioned where the stock cooler was so it had that air-flow running through it also. Plus is looks very nice if you care about the appearance under your bonnet. They do say you have to be careful with puddles etc but i never had a problem... I'm currently getting another one made up on my 34 gtt as we speak!
  4. In a straight line we all know stock vs stock (in brand new form) whats quickest, we can read the figures. But its completely IRRELEVANT, when will you find a brand new 32 gts or gtst, a gtr maybe from a collector but that'd still be damn hard to find! On a track the 32 does get left behind, the 33 GTR even out does the 32 due to suspension upgrades. Yes its slower in a straight line but not by much. The 34 GTR is similar in a straight line to the 32 (maybe just marginly slower) and will leave both 32 and 33 along way behind on the track. The 33 gtst s similar weight to the 34 gtt and gets left for dead in a straight line and even more so around a track! They are VERY different to drive if you've owned them both you'd probably know that. The neo is much better down low and slightly better up-top. Still neither feels as "chuckable" or nimble as the old 32 sh*tter i had before both of them which was fun
  5. Check your spark plugs, if they are gettin old they won't produce the same spark thus can cause abit more knock. Intake pipe won't close shut at 15psi, it tends to get that way above 20psi which you wouldn't do on standard turbs neway!
  6. Ok the R34 feels like a MUCH newer and better car than the R33. Personally i think it feels more nimble than the 33, but not no-where near the 32 in that regard (ive owned all 3 - currently 34 gtt). The R34's interior is less spacey and the car is slightly less length, i think you'll find weight is fairly similar. The 34 gt-t would be an awsome upgrade for you in every single regard, inside/outside its such a nicer car. In terms of engine mods, even though there's a handful of kw more claimed by nissan it's only really at the bottom end you find the neo much better to drive, won't make THAT much more hp on standard turbo so don't let that throw you off. I do agree with the above comments on the GTR, its interesting how it feels heavier in the corners yet will still find much more traction! In a straight line its soooo much easier. If your still at uni, keep your R33 and sell it once your done with your studies and into a job, worry about the car afterwards (unless you have years left hahaha).
  7. wow, absolutely awsome
  8. 184rwkw @ 9psi with boost dropping hard (midrange was at 13psi) FMIC, Pod Zorst with terrible cat (changed now, goes better) Avcr (hate it) Power FC Somehow want to hold 14psi and make 200rwkw, we'll see if i can sort the boost dropping issues out.
  9. i had engine light come on, meant the power fc boost control system was turned on when it should of been off as i had an avcr there. if you don't have the controller you might be abit stuck without a tuner
  10. If its clean inside, its means you have f**k all blow-by which means your engine is in top nick, and im not suprised running that boost level, sounds very safe Legally, it isn't supposed to vent to the atmosphere, so running the lines to a catch can to catch any bad oils, then back into the intake (for the gas's) is the best way to do it. Illegally, to keep all the sh*t out of your motor you use a breather and don't run it back into the intake... Just make sure the system has a way to breather (wether that be via the intake or a breather) as without it it will pressurize and cause you some big big problems. I have found that from having catch can problems in the past with my last car, lines to catch can were abit too small.. built some pressure up and blew the oil seal on the turbo, made both lines bigger with the breather ontop of the catch can and it never pressurized the system! Thought id try to help out so you didn't end up doing that lol
  11. Blocking off is obviously only if you have the bit there on a standard intake pipe Usually its better to run 2 lines to a catch can with a filter ontop of the catch can so both lines are free'd up rather than using one, i used one small one and it built up pressure in the system which meant bye bye turbo oil seal! Made 2 fat lines with a breather on the catch can and it didn't pressurize the system and kept all the sh*t outta the intake of the car, you'd be suprised when you empty the can how bad that oil actually is lol I guess the blow-by on a old rb20 runnin 20psi was always goin to be greater than most though
  12. Well his set up isnt an "oil breather" the breather system has a breather on it and doesn't send those sh*t gas's back into the intake... You could hook it up as shown with a catch can that has a breather on it and not run a line back into the intake. Don't have pics of my old set up on this computer, but both lines off the head simply run to a catch can with a breather and the bits get blocked off so the oils in the catch can and gas's out the breather!
  13. 20psi flat to 8200rpm FTW The e-boost 2 has soooo many functions u dont even use half of them, can have like 6 boost settings or some stupid sh*t hahaha
  14. http://img265.imageshack.us/img265/5127/300rwhpnm2.jpg A link for all too see the E-boost2 greatness I do agree Blitz boost controller is TOPS and good value from what ive seen too though, not arguements there.
  15. Did you just ignore the above graph?? Or are you just drunk hehe
  16. Thanks for the offer guys i ended up having to pay quiet abit more to get it quickly over here but i got one in the end i guess Props to Sullivan for noticing i needed one and actually goin to the effort of giving me a call to see if he could help. Much appreciated mate, pm me if you have a website with parts etc on it ill be sure to have a look.
  17. E-boost2 boost controller FTW Best thing ive ever seen.... Refer to my below tune on my last car. http://www.antilag.com/forums/attachment.p...mp;d=1154683917
  18. Ive gotten back to everyone's pm's, just waitin to hear from one of the members who wants to come and pick it up. If he falls through best offer gets it so feel free to offer. Thanks all As it stands turbo is SOLD
  19. Anyone got one? Prefer in Perth so i can pick it up ASAP as thats when i need it. If anyone has one call/msg me on 0407476022 Thanks Jaz
  20. Hey peeps I bought this turbo but have decided to go bigger again. Was built by Australian Turbos. Its got a Vl .60 front cover and hi-flowed rb25 rear housing with steel internals. It has only been put on an idling car (before the cars oil pump shat itself by previous owner) and has never been used otherwise so its as brand new basically. I was told it was rated to hold 22psi and can produce over 230rwkw on an rb25, probably abit less on an rb20. Im only chasing $650 + postage for the turbo as i simply don't need it! Im buying somethin thats quiet abit bigger lol Comes with a standard rb25 actuator aswell. Picture links are below. Front Rear Side PM me, email me on [email protected] or call me on 0407476022. At this price it won't last long so please no messing around! Thanks Regards Jaz
  21. Looks like i sourced one to suit my rb25 turbo which is good If anyone has one to suit an rb25 turbo at a good price plz pm me. Thanks
  22. Im looking for an actuator with a 14psi spring in it. Does anyone have one of these i can buy or know where i can get one??? Thanks Jaz
  23. But the GT-T isnt based ONLY on performance, its more comfort than a GTR which is why you get those options which may take away from performance but add in the other area. I meant on the Nissan Skyline models you can't compare traction control on another model/make car. I agree a GTR is better than a GTST/GTT, thats obvious, but an older model GTR brings with it its age, which is why people are voting on the newer GTT, yes it has abit less performance but also less headaches Also you are sayin tsc is a waste of weight, its a way to combat putting less weight on the car (if you made it awd it'd weigh more obviously) and keeping it rwd? I have posted too many times in this thread everyone is allowed their opinions and they probably won't change too much... might become a spectator now hahahaha
  24. Im guessing you own an R32 GTR or are in love with them and can't see past you big nose to another perspective? The 34 GTT has newer technology, ever heard of traction control, how about VVT? Things unheard of un 1989! Obviously the suspension on a GTR is going to be better, but someone said 230,000kms on standard suspension, wake up mate the springs and ESP shocks wouldn't last that long, they'd be longggg dead along with most of the other bits n pieces (bush's blah blah). Its common sence 15 yr old suspension can be abit dodge (i know i sold mine with that being one of the reasons i cbf pourning anymore money into it). Yes i agree paint is about condition, however 99% of 32 GTRs you see have average paint, together with the fact that 3 layer factory duco was again unheard of back in 1989 adds to my point, it won't be as nice as the 34s. The engine, r34 neo's generally has less kms and have been driven alot less hard thus its harder to find one to pop, i agree if your goin for 400+rwhp then get an rb26, but even at those levels ive seen more rb26's pop than rb25s. You can't tell me a 15 yr old rb26 is goin to be in the condition a 5 or 7 year old rb25 will be in, thats fkn stupid. I KNOW ive seen it over and over and over, if your denyin it your just plain thick! On the power note, 350rwhp in a rwd gt-t is a very quick package if you know how to drive it, yes a 32 gtr with awd will be easier, but put it down to the driver if they can manage it or not. You can't say that they have gone backwards in tech, thats dumb again, the gt-t and gts-t's have simply always been rwd. Its like sayin a Ferrari is backwards in tech because one of the models is RWD... In terms of 350rwhp, you can make that witout a built rb25, everybody knows that, just go read through the forums, it seems 400rwhp is the stress point on the rb25, its all about how you treat a motor. Also i know from expierance, you won't get over 350rwhp without stressing the standard gtr's turbos (which have usually been replaced due to age by now) and injectors are near at their limits there. I agree bolt some N1's on which is simple and you can make 400+rwhp, but thats also a level ive seen many many pop at, even blowing gearbox's in some cases... Its fine for you to have an opinion, but you HAVE to be able to see both sides of the picture. The 32 GTR would be the best option if it was mint and the same age no question, but in 99% of cases its not and things go wrong with them. They are older in every aspect which is why there's more ppl voting its a downgrade on the forum because newer things generally have less problems If the owner wanted performance only and had the cash its obvious. If the owner wanted a nice comfortable daily, again its obvious. Btw rant over/ hehehe
  25. Be nice to see dyno graph, whens it on full-boost by? Is it pretty crappy down low now? Also who tuned it in Perth?
