  1. Interesting.. never heard that one before. Anyone confirm?
  2. Duty cycle is dependant on how hard your pushing ur injectors. You can view it in the monitor bit on the hand controller, mine comes on in later gears above 90%ish too. Just becareful you don't get a boost spike or somethin on a cold night n not be able to put enough fuel into the motor! Hopefully its not running much above 90% for you.
  3. Change the wheels and front grill IMO, other than that seems like abit of work has gone into it, nice work bud.
  4. Dude the colour and the black stockies n clear indicators... you've done such a nice job, looks incredibly clean!
  5. U cud kill the person who did that to a Carrera GT...
  6. You need the laptop software to change these settings? What's the benefit and what's the "dwell" actually mean? Very interesting
  7. Better actuator and elc boost controller will bring on boost as quickly as it can. No point in runnin 9psi on a bigger turbo... Find a HKS 1 bar actuator (or generic and make it fit) and just use that, will work well with the bigger turbo, also check to make sure 12 to 1 AFRs are ok on that boost level and its not pinging! Most ppl tune to around 11.5ish to 1 that ive seen on the rb25's.
  8. Eboost2 FTW. Might need to take out your cat to hold more than 15psi on that turbo...
  9. 260rwkw was on an r33 rb25 and also only on that boost, bump it up a few more psi and abit more aggressive tune and it'll make 270-280rwkw no drama's! Ive seen 300rwkw with cams but i believe the motor was built. Erm a GTRS on 1bar wud kill your motor without afm/injectors I run 276rwhp and on cold nights get up to 94% injector duty cycle!! Pump would of maxed up before then and afm can't stretch much past 300rwhp. I'd love to see a comparison graph between a 2835 ProS and a GTRS. How much more power does the ProS make and how much more lag? I like track work the most so the GTRS will be pefecto! hehe
  10. $1800+ 2nd hand $2500+ new Includes turbo/actuator/fittings/lines etc Mates R33 (rb25) has full boost by 3000rpm and 350rwhp on a measley 1.1bar (15.5-16psi). My old GCG made 310ishrwhp by was fairly laggy on my tired r32 (rb20) running 20psi. Not really a good comparison hehe Peronsally im going to fork out for the hks turbo, just not for awhile!
  11. There's f**k all info on apexi turbo's around and they cost a fair bit! HKS gtr-s has come down heaps in price lately, awsome turbo. gcg is ok, i have my opinions about it but it will make decent power no problems.
