  1. Ye Mish is a perth girl, she always wins the autosalon model comps lol That black 32 is fkn wideeeeee, lots of work gone into that one!
  2. this is in the top few skylines ive ever seen... i don't usually like that paint much, or led tail lights, but jesus thats amazing...
  3. My engine isn't high on compression all round and makes 223rwkw with a GCG hi-flow at 20psi with quiet abit of fuel put into it and fairly conservative timing (I don't want it to blow lol)... Id suggest with a rb20 that has good compression and a good tune (not so rich + some more timing) 230-240rwkw would be achievable. I get full boost by 3900rpm with standard cams/camshafts in place and the motor has never been opened. All in all i think too much lag on an rb20 would just be sh*t for street driving as mine's bad enough hehe
  4. Remaps ftw... hehe All i can say is less lag is important on a standard rb20! It won't run like an rb25 off-boost, or even an sr20 for that matter lol 14psi wont do much on an rb20 either, you really need 17++ psi plus alot of rpms to start to make any real decent power on MOST turbo's The TD06 seems like a pretty good choice, i have the gcg hi-flow (from a r33 turbo) and its abit laggy really... When it gets going its great like on the freeway etc, but waitin for it to spool up can be frustrating esp in low gears, 1st gear is nothing nothing then all hell breaks loose for half a second LOL
  5. jeeez thats nice!!!
  6. What cams?? They brought boost on earlier im guessing by ur comment? Thats what im looking for, not somethin to give me heaps more top end but abit more low down. Otherwise i may just chuck the rb20 n go rb25 coz its such a pig off boost hahahaha
  7. Alright Gary... whats the lowest i can be without stressing the suspension etc too much?? Dont tell me 330mm coz thats heaps hahaha
  8. The 2nd bar uve showed is a diff model (G+ series) thats similar... thats pretty damn cheap for that rare bar though!
  9. Just put some new tint on the sh*tter 20% sides/back 5% sunroof/front windscreen strip
  10. SK i have lowered my car quiet abit... Center of rim to gaurd on both front and rear is 295mm, and im not exaggerating at all lol I am goin to grab a few bits off you to go with some whiteline stuff i have (mainly after some traction so adjustin the camber as much as i can), is bein that low going to damage anythin (apart from my kit and exhaust.. hahaha)??? I noticed better handlin when it was 10-15mm higher but i prefer the low look.
  11. Ye that seems to be the case Either way i never get to 8800rpm even on the tacho! hahahah that'd sounds sweet
  12. Rb20s need revs and boost to make power, everyone knows that so the longer you can safely hold it the better id say (in terms of how quick your goin, its not goin to be better for the motor hahaha) I have learnt that the speedo and tacho seem to be close together ie if speedo says 50kms it the tacho will say 3000rpm, if rsm says 50kms on it the rsm will say 3000rpm. Ive found the rsm from the dyno is perfect in terms of speed, so im using that as my rpm gauge aswell... The speedo seems to be out more and more the faster you get, but you should note i have different rims/tyres to manufactor specs and thats probably why my speedo is out! From the RSM i hit the limiter at 7500rpm If your usin 8800rpm you have balls unless you have a built motor LOL Hope that helps Cogs
  13. SK found along with a mag i read (hpi might of been..) that you really need a re-tune if you have a tuned ECU and are planning on changin to a fuel with etho in it, basically you can run more timing with the etho additive in it thus make more power across the rpm range however without the re-tune you'll make less power and the car will run more lean which is obviously horrible! lol Anyone know if WA will ever get ANY 100 octane fuel..
  14. great seller!! got the items today bro, thank you
  15. Well i guess your best goin on one dyno with one setting n stickin to that as you mod your car to see the actual diff's it makes on the same dyno to see how much your goin forward! From what im told there few around me that peeps use are all fairly close to each other which is good for us
  16. I believe to be a dyno tuner with the software you all have to be within specific specs of each other, i know for a fact there is less than 5rwhp difference between the 2 dyno's ive been involved with
  17. An engine with higher compression is always goin to make more power than the same one thats tired and has lower compression as the 'bang' is not as strong. Someone mentioned 10-20rwkw (13-25rwhp) i didn't realise it would be that much! Every situation will be different of course but i expected 10-20rwhp...? What i love about newer motor's is how much smoother they are in cruise etc!
  18. I disagree with your comments on shootout mode, My mates car made 214rwhp in shootout mode and 250somethin rwhp on a dyno that wasn't accredited but is a big company over here... Each to their own i guess, all the serious modifiers use dyno's that are very close to each other over here with shootout mode This came up on another website im on regually and we refer to this also! http://www.xspeed.com.au/tech_features.php?tech_id=19
  19. Its not THAT lean but it could do with abit more fuel, that is probably why your makin that sorta power, id do ur zorst, fuel pump and a quick tune fairly quickly with summer coming to make sure you keep your motor in top condition like it seems to be!
  20. Your questioning Hyperdrive's (im guessin as its in Malaga) dyno?? It use's shootout mode and is known as a very realistic dyno, doesn't read high at all dude.
  21. Half and exhaust and no tune and you made 196rwkw That as you is above the norm for an rb20! Most will only make 10hp more MAX with a full zorst and tune (rb20 with rb25 turbo). Your ecu must be running the car quiet well and the motor sounds pretty healthy
  22. suspension is sold to me
  23. jeeez thats harsh awsome car as ppl said deadly in the wrong hands
  24. HKS 25/30... Anythin bigger will be unenjoyably laggy for street use on an rb20!
  25. Come'on peeps, give us some replys on set degree's and any results u may notice in seat of pants or dyno! Im gonna watch closely, im mostly interested in if it reduces lag in any case hehe
