  1. Got my new apexi intake today measured 3.5inches That and a new walbro 450lph pump to replace my old dw300 will hopefully see my ss1.5 sr20 at 280kw As we tested fuel pressure and it was dropping 6-10 psi up top on the dyno as I'm running a extra bar of fuel pressure over std and my fuel pump can't keep up Afr were going from 12 to 12.5 as fuel pressure dropped so may gain 5-10kw if we can keep afr constant and Tao tested the 2.5inch intake vs 3inch was 13kw Will get it retuned in a few months after I buy a new fuel pump
  2. Hi mate take $150 posted to NSW for it if so pm me
  3. Your still getting a fair bit of boost drop cause you using the 1bar actuator Your boost is going from 20psi to 17 psi by redline Mine held 20psi pretty solid with your 20psi actuator you supplied with the normal 1/2 a hole preload as seen in my dyno
  4. Were you running the same .86 tial housing with the gt2860rs as if not there will abit of the power gain and that's why more ignition timing could be added
  5. Look at the precision 5130 sr20det t2 bolt on turbo With 2bolt fr comp cover makes 320kw+ So I'm sure the 2.5inch inlet shouldn't be a restricting flow
  6. Yeah tuner did say there was proberly 5-10kw in it if I replaced the fuel pump to a walbro 460lph But I can't justify spending $500 plus for the retune and fuel pump to gain 5-10kw if I was to get a retune I want to gain atleast 20-30kw But I need to upgrade injectors and fuel pump and turbo if I was to stay e85 But if I stayed with p100 100octane fuel I might get away with just a larger pump and the turbo upgrade which will proberly be my next stage in a few months
  7. I was talking to lithium But the the 2.5 inch comp housing can't be too restrictive as the 180sx before me on the dyno had the 2.5inch bolt on comp housing with the hks2540 and the pulled 280 odd kW and backed it off to 274kw on just 22psi cause the injectors were maxxed and same as a s15 with a greddy t518z made 281kw The atr28ss2 should make Simlar power to the gtx3071r on pump 98 but with less lag The same lag I got now with the ss1.5 but 280 odd kw on pump 98
  8. Yeah but with the .64ar on it was similar to now just came on alil earlier
  9. It's feels as with the 18g it was a big surge of power after 4000rpm And not much before than Where as with the ss1.5 it just comes in more linear and smoother power delivery from 3000rpm up but there is no big surge of power The way the power comes on with the ss1.5 it will be easier to put down but the 18g snaps you back in the seat more once on power
  10. Will see how the atr28ss2 does on my brothers s13 on pump 98 If that goes well I might be intrested in upgrading
  11. It's still making 170rwkw by 4000rpm So didn't lose much the .64 rear made 180rwkw at 4000rpm but the older atr28g2 made 210rwkw by 4000rpm but power nose dived after 5500rpm
  12. Drives a lot nicer now it's tuned to the .86rear Part throttle still has power but haven't done a lot of driving yet as I just got it tuned But I was surprised it didn't lose much response going from the .64 to .86 200rpm if they where both on 20psi was expecting it to be worse and laggier about 500rpm but engine is a lot happier Should have waited alil longer as the atr28ss2 would have been a lot better everywhere and make more power down low and up top
  13. Bump $350 for the t28bb need it gone
  14. All same car sr20det 180sx Nismo 740cc injectors .64 was always on boost but was chocking the engine couldn't run more than 20psi Would be good for someone after 240-250rwkw but staying below 20psi
  15. Shit phone pic 3800rpm 1bar 4000rpm 25psi
  16. The .86ar did gain 16rwkw but at 250rpm lag penalty and 5psi more down low and 2-3psi more up top So it did make the engine happier as he could add in lots more timing and more boost where as before I was capped to 20psi with .64ar or he had to remove lots of timing with more boost to the point power went down with more boost
  17. Here my dyno results from my ss1.5 on my sr20det non VCt 180sx 266rwkw ss1.5 .86ar 250rwkw ss1.5 .64ar 251rwkw atr28g2 .64ar Power vs boost Power vs torque Tuner said there was 5-10kw more in it if I replaced my dw300 fuel pump for a walbro 460lph pump as fuel pressure was dropping 10psi under load when tested but not worth the money and extra to tune right now as turbo is at it's max and injectors will be too as I'm on e85
  18. Unless you already had the comp housings Making new piping to suit the gtx will be cheaper If you do get stuck hypergear turbos in Melbourne can Machine you out your housing to suit and are the best priced and postage is only $20-30 a turbo
  19. Shit that blows the gtx3071r then as it's 500rpm better response than it so will be a noticeable difference
  20. 20psi by 4250rpm and 292rwkw is a very impressive result Spewing I already swapped my ss1.5 to .86ar and booked a tune for Tuesday should have waited I think that turbo is maxxed now as on 25psi it only picked up 14kw from 5psi extra but still the ultimate bolt on lowmount turbo for sr so far as it's making gtx3071r power but more responsive by 250rpm A gtx3071r is usually at 20psi by 4500rpm All you need is to machine up a t28 bolt on fr compressor cover and will become a full bolt on turbo and look std but pumps out 300kw Should sell like hot cakes Now you should enable VCt and unleash the power with e85 Or is VCt active now ?
