  1. I wouldnt think so mate. Best bet is to see the just jap trader page here on sau. They will sort you out, (i thought they had a kit for 32?) Anyway, hit them up.
  2. My r33 (white) is flaking off on the roof mate, so i have to be extremely hesitant with my small pressure cleaner, and even the car lovers ones not to take it off. Now you have that mark, so will you. Mine was like it when i bought it, and on the bonnet from stone chips too. I just looked up the paintcode (i think here) and bought some cans from supercheap. A couple of white ones, plus primer and clear coat. Rubbed it back a little, applied primer, then paint, then clear. Im sure you can read up on it a little more on here though for techniques, masking etc. In the end, white is the easiest colour and in that regard you are lucky. Mine has lasted well over 12 months now (due again though) and looked decent. If you are a perfectionist, it probably wont cut it for long though. Good luck with it.
  3. All i need is an ashtray, and the bit of trim that the drivers side door switches go in (the piece with the handle in it only)
  4. Thats f**king ridiculous! It looks like that island is pretty well entirely in the lane coming down the hill from the photos, looking at the lines on the road anyway. Like you said, it makes it very thin. I would of thought they would be required to put the standing cat eye reflector or something similar on it. That sux man.
  5. I think its good for potential buyers to see the difference between asking price VS the real price people pay. I guess its relatively straight forward with some more expensive cars, and its somewhat of a rule that you should haggle on price. But with the older, cheaper cars, how much can they move in price? I think its very informative.
  6. Maybe on 34. With the 33 the stock is particularly shit. I doubt anyone is going to point him in the direction of cheap shit china jobs either.
  7. Try this thread mate. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/361595-r34-gtt-basic-mods/ Basically, if the topic has been covered in the forum before, people will be flamin mongrels to you haha, its general rule of the forum. The thread i linked above should give you some basic ideas as to what you want to look for in parts etc. As for some of the stuff listed, well you are heading in the right direction for the most part. *Scrap the bov, its useless and a waste of money. *x2 On the coilovers. You dont want 200 odd rwkw with stock suspension. * Not really sure on the price of 34's, but consider nistune instead of power fc, it may save $ * If you decide on a pod, make sure you have a box/shield made up like you mentioned, otherwise you will suck heat. *Splitfire's may be of no use unless your coilpacks are already failing. * Turbo timers arent really necessary, although its debated. Drive calmly for the last few minutes before you stop and it should do! Hope that helps.
  8. Just to clear things up, i was being a smart ass. I dont think you buy a machine like that to corner! lol I think 99% of car enthusiasts are suckers for old school tough.
  9. You got it mixed up. Faster = cooler.
  10. The camaro is awesome and all, but a 35 would smack it around a track.
  11. I got a bargain on my 33, as the rest in this thread have! Good bang for buck the 33's are.. Mine is a 95 series 1.5, it was stock besides buddy club coil overs and a cat back. Decent condition, paint on the bonnet is not great, and same with a small section on the roof. Being white, i didnt care and patched it up to look good with a damn can. Already has a heavy duty clutch, had 120 odd km on it, and came with the trusty old 33 coil packs that missfire. Got it for $4000 12 months ago. Spent a little bit on it here and there, but the only necessary thing was the coil packs, the rest has been 'wants'
  12. See im confused now, because the first part of the post is perfectly matched to my car, only i have stock bov. When my car gets warm it will sometimes drop really low in revs, sometimes even stall with the very slightest of a touch on the accelerator. Not a problem at all when you take off normally as such, i mainly noticing it when parking or reversing etc, where its only very little throttle. When i bought the car it used to basically miss or stall all the time when slowing down with the clutch in, but after cleaning the aac valve it is now only with slight throttle pushes.. Sorry for the hijack, but nothing came up in search and i didnt get around to my own thread.
  13. You dont honestly think that an adult will learn better punctuation after going their whole life without it, simply because someone poked at it on a forum do you? Im not saying it wouldn't be nice, but its not happening.
  14. hahaha!! Such an awesome line.. Im gonna thieve that one.
  15. Have seen a few getting around now im back on the road! Off the top of my head i know i spotted a white 34 at broadmeadow on friday night.
  16. Got my license back on Monday after a pretty lengthy time off.. 8 months in total, was very happy to finally win my appeal in the district court. Anyway, also got my epa noise test passed (got a notice in the mail not long after loosing my license) Had to get a standard catback and put the standard cat converter back on. Also needed to get a airbox as i bought it with a pod, and remove the boost controller. I was lucky to get away with the dump pipe i had. After it finally passed (86db) i needed to get a pink slip. The bloke at this joint was a pain in the arse. I honestly didnt notice the horn not working or the number plate light out, so fair enough... but they were fixed at the auto electrician (which is part of the business) so i was expecting a pass. Then the bloke notices the key comes out of the ignition while running... fail. Lucky i got one from the toy shop and my old boy fitted it and had it passed the next day. Seriously though, i was really surprised that he knocked it back over that, i have had them let me off with stuff like that numerous times. Will not go back to that painful prick. Anyway, sorry for the rant.. but im all back on the road now!
  17. Being pregnant although it sounds like torture, im sure she is probably considered lucky to carry children with such a disease. I gotta think that for most young women it is a big blow to their body image too. My sister has spent plenty of time looking borderline anorexic, and now has what would be a 20cm odd scar up her belly from the operations. Luckily in her case she is very confident and not too concerned. It just makes me think.. if that was my wife, a scar like that would have shattered her. Not to mention it most likely wont be the last.
  18. Ok i know thia thread is old but i figure it is still relevant. Me and the old man will look at mine tommorow, and he has a multimeter and as an electrician has some idea of what he is doing, unlike myself. Anyway, mine is a series 1.5 and the window had problems from the day i bought it. Me and the old man put a new motor in a few weeks back, it was no probs and worked fine again. Anyway, he took my car to get the gay epa test and noticed the window went slow coming down with the door closed. When it got tested it came out fully down and dad noticed a few km's up the road, not working at all. Now the thing is, both windows are not working now, and the ignition light is flicking on & off, which it never did before. There is also a relay on the left of the steering under the dash constantly clicking. This clicking goes away when you disconnect the window switch assembly. Anyway, my old man will be able to get onto testing it properly with me tommorow, just trying to see if anyone has had something similar. Btw- the fuses under the dash and bonnet appear fine..
  19. Oh and i forgot to mention that both of my siblings are very selective of their diets and also very fit. I can speak for them both that the dairy and gluten intake is low or nil (not completely certain) But i know for a fact my brother has been much healthier since trying a low sucrose diet (I THINK) I have to double check that is what it is, but off the top of my head it is low sucrose. I will post back again when i am 100% that is what it is.
  20. My sister has Chrons and my brother has ulcerative colitis. Long story short my sister spend probably 12-18 months before she was diagnosed as most doctors thought she had anorexia because of her age. (18-19) She finally saw a specialist who has treated her for the last 8-9 years, and his associates are her doctors now she is in the uk. She has been quite well in most cases, but before her diagnosis she was quite honestly on deaths door. She still has the occasional flair up of ulcers, but it is for the most part managed. She has also been operated on three times now to remove portions of her small intestine and i think bowel also. This was f**ked, no way around it. I saw her at her worst after she was operated on and sent home only to have ruptures and scream in agony. This doesn't surprise most people, but this woman is the toughest person i know, and was still working 60 hour weeks at 18 years of age while her esophagus and bowel where lined with ulcers. (before diagnosis) She was constantly bleeding, and unable to eat properly, but still f**king worked a retail managers job and dealt with dream boats all day, so to hear her scream made me want to kill someone. Anyway, she has been very healthy and managed since her last op (2006) and the fistfulls of steroids she takes every day seem to have it under control. My brother (ulcerative collitis) seems to have had an easier run. He has had some flair ups, but since he was diagnosed after my sister, his illness did not quite get as severe as it was suspected initially by doctors. I know his drugs seem to give him a hard time every now and again, but his health has been very consistent. Long story short- whenever i see these names pop up, it makes me sick. I feel sorry for anyone that has to endure this type of shit, and good luck with it whether it is chrons, ulcerative collitis or ibs.
  21. I know the age card does apply in some instances, but hell i started swimming 4 years before Micheal Phelps, does it mean im better?
  22. Yeah damn straight, i have never liked cannons anyway tbh. Less attention the better.
  23. Thanks mate, will give him a call. My old man took the skyline over to the epa test at redhead the first time, and he told dad the cannon would need to be replaced regardless because it was rusted to the shit house. I spoke to my guitarist on the weekend (who i bought it off) and he thought it was strange because the system isnt very old (3" 5zigen) Got to pulling it off on the weekend, and the thing is completely fine. Rather weird.
  24. Has anyone got a stock catback foran r33 gtst? Gotta get it through the epa. Or even a exhaust shop that could sort me out to pass?
