  1. Nice photos man, I heard about the accident on the way there, sorry to hear Hopefully it ends up better in the end (a nice new front bar and spray )
  2. I'll 2nd that
  3. Teins are usually way to hard for street use, unless your using your car on the track. Are yours coilovers Jetdat? what spring rates are you using? As for LCD's they are getting better now with better response times, but still way to expensive, if we had 15k to blow i'd buy a proper HD 45" Sharp LCD, 1920x1080, but we don't have 15k So i figure a cheap SD plasma will do for a couple of years till a proper HD LCD/Plasma comes into our price range, then move the SD Plasma to the bedroom.. we'll see.
  4. 3.3k was for full box no transfer case, they had them in stock in Melbourne, had it the next day. Dont have a part number anymore, but ask for an R33 GTR gearbox and they can look it up, dont think the R34 6 speed fits
  5. Gareth: Sure mate, try to get to bunnings car park before 7am in the morning, i'll PM you my mobile number.
  6. yeah in a straight line they are pretty quick, even quicker if you throw a few $ at them.
  7. Andrew Hardeman Gold MX-5 8 1:59.350 Thats the turbo MX5 you're talking about i think ... with a 1.59 you're right it will be keeping me honest !
  8. Sounds good, how about Bunnings carpark in Cranbourne corner of thompsons and south gippsland hwy? Leave at 7am sharp from there so arrive there 6:50am or something. Robin: let us know if you're meeting us at 7am or if your going down to PI tonight. I'd advise going down to PI since like Roy said there will be lots of hands/knowledge to help out, if not where do you live? Geoff: sorry to hear about the engine that sucks!
  9. Robin: will you be running semi-slicks? what mods, and driver exp do you have? I'll be driving down Saturday morning, probably meet my mate in berwick/narre/cranbourne somewhere at about 7am, ill let you know if you want to cruise down with us.
  10. Vuster: my GTR is on novated lease as well, your company shouldn't care, your LEASE company will care, most of them dont like leasing cars that will be older than 5 years at the end of the lease term. My novated lease company wouldn't finance the GTR, but i found finance somewhere else and they packaged that into the novated lease for me. PRE-TAX is gold
  11. EB price matched (refunded) the BigW price on my pre-ordered copy.
  12. I've only been once and best time was 1.59 and that took some effort to get it, so my goal is to break 1.59, and not the car

  16. The same turbo gold/orange MX5 at Calder that was running 2seconds slower than me at Calder ?
  17. I just had my tyres swapped L <-> R since the camber i run kills the inside of my tyres, insides were starting to show signs of wear, so swapped them over, hopefully give me a few more kms out of them
  18. Fark sorry to hear it mate! I'd forgotten all about checking out that GTR here in Melb for you - sorry again, i've been flat out with some stuff at work/home and forgot about calling Calvin.
  19. 1.53 in a 200sx hey, damn, if he's running semi-slicks he doesn't count or give me a ~3second headstart heh. Whats he running that makes it so quick?
  20. And i seem to have got your number again Andrew, same as Calder - 34 hah
  21. hahah it would be good if he did run street rubber, i wouldn't be able to keep up with him but it would set some good times for me to aim for Looks like an interesting group we are in: 2 Bevan Jeremy Skyline Associate 46 2 Conrad Tim WRX Associate 19 2 Dean Andrew Skyline Associate 34 2 Hede Greg MX5 Associate 45 2 McHenry Mark HSV Associate 20 2 Nowlan Anthony Skyline Associate 47 2 Pausler Mark RS Associate 42 2 Priestley Bruce Skyline Associate 165 - Shared with Wayne Sterling 2 Richmond Andrew Nissan GTR Associate 40 2 Thomson Chris Skyline Associate 77 2 Wehner Craig HSV Associate 123 MX5, HSVx2, RS, B4, the 2 angry white/blue gtr's (Andrew/Chris), Ant in his gtst, maybe me and Ant can have some good runs I'm not sure who Bruce or Jeremy are?
  22. theres R32 gtst's not r33 gtsts http://news.gaminghorizon.com/media/1106108281.html
  23. I've done nearly 15,000ks on mine and 3 track days, and they are still going Should get another 10,000ks out of them i recon, we'll see. still happy with them and for the price you can't go wrong.
  24. Someone else in AWD Standard class YAY - What car do you have? a GTR i'm assuming? Fire extinguisher, undo the bolt at the bottom of your back seat, put the bracket then, and put bolt back in, done. You don't NEED race fuel, it just makes it a bit safer, the more power you run/the more on edge your tune is, the more you should use race fuel, I don't use it. This is the first time Andrew will be using it (i think). They have BP Ultimate on the islande (not at the track, but in Cowes) Its up to you how you sort out your fuel, you will go through it very quickly on the track. I wouldn't have an abosultly full tank for the track because you may find it slushes around and leaks out your petrol cap like it did to Andrew last time i was at PI. So maybe half to three quaters on the track, once you get low go fill up at BP in Cowes. I'll probbaly fill up before i leave for the track on saturday morning, drive the 100ks or so to the track, and race, fill up half way through the day when needed.
  25. there are tutorials on here im sure pull out ashtray/coin draw, unscrew 2 screws behind there pull gearstick surround off (its only held in by those 2 screws and some clips) that should reveal 2 more screws for the main plastic dash, unscrew, and the rest is clips.
