  1. who else is confirmed from here? snowman, ferni, scotsman, pontiff
  2. Faxed mine off this morning.
  3. check your attesa fluid (should be in the boot) if its not at the right level, use ATF to fill it
  4. Look forward to seeing it run, wonder how it will go. I find my wheels lock up for a second before ABS kicks in (i can make it lock up and ease of the brake before ABS kicks in) I'm not saying i can't do it, but thats the biggest challenge to me at the moment.. consistantly braking at the right point, especially since my speed varies depending on my previous corner exit etc...
  5. Amal: I dig your body kit, never seen it before - what is it?
  6. Can't remember what power 2510's are rated at but they are small, they will spool up and respond nice and quick, but they will run out of puff above 6000-7000rpm
  7. Whats this TT Geoff? you sticking Andrews turbos on your car?!? The hardest part i find not having much track expereince is braking... You soon figure out the lines, but braking at the exact right point as hard as you can without locking up is what i find hardest.
  8. Doesn't the R33 gtst have some dual stage boost thing? have you got rid of that and just run the high boost setting the whole time?
  9. There are different versions of the display, the basic one doesn't have the features you're talking about, it was about an extra $1000 for those features.

    Gee Tee Arr!
  11. heartbrkr: I took my car on PI track with street rubber, you can't take the corners at teh same speeds the guys with cheater tyres do, but they are still fine.
  12. GT-SS pnblight: thats some impressive power/times in your sig, what other mods you running
  13. Thanks, I currently have bendix ultimates on (was on the car when i got it) and i still can't belive they are still going, never had the brakes fade on me which im suprised at, but it probably means im not braking hard enough at the track (in fact i know im not, thats one area i really need to work on, braking hard/late consistently). Its also probably the fact im on street rubber like Roy said, so goes easier on the brakes than semi slicks would. But i figure they can't last much longer, and was going to chuck a set of RB74's on when they run out, maybe i'll try the DS2500's instead. I dont have any complaints about my current bendix ulitmates, people tell me they aren't that good (compared to RB74's etc..) but they are the first set of pads ive had on my GTR so who knows... they squeel a tiny bit under light braking, otherwise ok.
  14. i have them, there is a review on here somewhere, do a search for it. i've done 3 track days and nearly 15,000ks on them and they are still fine, maybe 50% tread.. hard to tell... road noise is fine. Good road tyre. i have 255/35/18's
  15. How do those pads compare to RB74's?
  16. another vote for track days
  17. haven't never done it i wouldn't be sure, but rally looks like it would be mega hard, anyone can jump in a car and do most of the others or at least have a decent go at them, rally would just be way scarey.
  18. Awesome newsletter - love all the pictures, and easy reading!
  19. perfect buy... Get engine rebuilt by Racepace, add injectors if it doesn't have them, powerFC You'd get a S3 GTR with some nice goodies, with 320rwkw, freshley built engine with forgies... for less than 40k.... Wish this came up 12 months ago when i was looking edit: a friend is interested - got a phone number?
  20. use the stock airbox, only reason to use pods imo is if you use aftermarket AFM's that and you're to lazy to modify your airbox.
  21. 1.53 hey Roy? I'll be well impressed if you break 1.53, hell i'll be stoked if I break 1.55, hows your car running after Calder? any better?
