  1. Thats good, then maybe i can borrow it at calder tomorrow rowdyr32
  2. So what was the story Angry, someone ran a red light into him?
  3. There were HEAPS of accidents over the last couple of days due to weather, i'd guess the skyline accidents were in propotion to other cars that had accidents as well.
  4. GTTR34: as Snowman just said, more gears = closer ratio between the gears, more gears to select from, which hopefully will keep the revs in the ideal rev range for his turbos.
  5. Will Andrews 6speed gearbox help reduce the lag between changes since he has more gears to select from etc?
  6. Best bet is give funkymonkey or someone who has the fast software your VIN, they should be able to look it up. The S1 could get the passenger airbag as an option i beleive.... but also the steeringwheel could of just been changed.. the S2 steering wheel is a different design to the S1, looks totally different.
  7. www.nengun.com www.greenline.jp not sure if theys hip to the states... but alot of the guys here in Aus use them for skyline parts... for big power i'd probably go for a single, you'll need someone to custom make you a manifold, surely someone can do it locally to you? Don't forget with that kind of power you're going to need lots of other bits, ecu, bigger fuel pump, bigger injectors, forged enginee internals etc....
  8. I got within 200m of work, then the road was closed with a big arse tree down, so had to go around another way, besides that had to drive through about a 1foot deep puddle... Tip for anyone driving through puddles: always drive at a slow constent speed (don't slow down or accelerate through them)
  9. http://gtr.ferni.net/misc/dash_removal/sli...ter_unit02.html the black thing on top of the heater box in that pick above his foot, about the size of a deck of cards (give or take)... Troy: Interesting i tried pulling and prying at mine because i figured only 1/4 of the cog is actually in use so i should be able to turn it around but couldn't... i only tried for 5mins or so, so maybe i didn't ry hard enough... regardless i've orded a new one from nissan, waiting for it to come in.
  10. WTB: wolf3D... will pay top dollar
  11. not sure if you serious or not Troy, but considering you were talking about the damage done by a a certain workshop to your engine with a a tool left where it shouldn't have been, which was an RB20 at the time, i'd say BULLSHIT! Theres nothing wrong with the stock fuel pump, doesn't Emre run a stock fuel pump? btw where is Emre - haven't seen him around on here in a while, is he coming on sat?
  12. haha i know what Andrews geting done the dirty dog, i just got back from dropping my car at bens, that wolf3d sure is impressive What do you mean me being the carrot to chase? i can't drive for shit so i'm sure i'll be chasing you gtsts, the other GTR's will be seeing my tail lights............... as they overlap me
  13. Troy: I tried fixing mine but couldn't. the cog that has lost its tooth is plastic and looked/felt like it was moulded to the peice underneath, so i couldn't spin it around.... does that sound right? or didn't i disect far enough?
  14. aren't the 2530's also rated at 320hp each?
  15. yeah leaving notes doesn't do any damage (except to maybe thier ego), i would never damage anyones car/property no matter how riced up it is... but a friendly reminder that it is NOT a GTR and everyone knows it, puts them in thier place.
  16. haha i don't care so much about what other people think, i'd give my left nut for either of those cars.
  17. One of the guys i work with saw my car and started telling me about his old skyline i asked what it was he hesitated and said gtst.. but it went as hard as a GTR etc... etc... he said it had the full GTR kit and that on.. and the badges... grrrr then his mate standing next to him goes 'you told me it was a GTR' he replied 'yeah well it went as hard as a GTR' I've gone as far as putting notes on gtst's i see parked with GTR badges on saying 'NOT A ****ING GTR'
  18. ohh and the photos for the dash removal were done by predetor on this forum ... photos here: http://gtr.ferni.net/misc/dash_removal/ there is a thread somewhere
  19. the thing tang0 is talking about makes a clicking noise when you turn on your car... not sure if that has anything to do with it... try what Godzilla32 said... the interior temp sensor is just behind the plastic dash surround (that has all your stereo etc in it)... just below and to the left of your steering wheel you will see a small vent (horizontal lines) behind that there should be a black tube going to it and a plug with some kind of electronic component Best bet would be to try the diagnostics on your climate control, withing 10seconds of starting your car, hold the off button on the climate control for about 5 seconds i think... more info in this book: http://gtr.ferni.net/misc/skylinebook.pdf
  20. An airbag code? I've removed my airbag and steering wheel twice, and put it back on twice and never had any problems - the airbag light doesn't come on (except for when starting the car as per normal).... I was told that if you remove the airbag Nissan need to reset something but i've never had any troubles - of course i've never had any reason for my airbag to go off... Where is this airbag code?
  21. common problem on the R33's, its a motor/actuator on the heaterbox, you need to pull the whole dash out to get to it, part is about $200 from Nissan. 2-4hours labour ... You'll find if you flick through the climate control modes it will make the same clicking noise... usually when you turn off the feet vent.
  22. Thats what i got told... I love the E46 M3, the looks, the style etc... i don't think i'd change a thing (except the price tag) It would be a tough choice between an E46 M3 and a 34GTR, would come down what you wanted to use it for, if track car, GTR.. or if more a daily driver, M3...
  23. Its not hard to remove the airbag steering wheel... if you really don't like it, just change it to one you want, but keep the orig incase you get defected for it. takes 10-15mins to change the steering wheel
  24. How did you go spekaing to Ben Troy? Why won't you make this event Chris? I recon Scott will give the standard gtsts a good run for thier money I'm happy to take anyone who is game enough in my car on passenger laps if i have no one with me
