  1. Imagine Car B is REALLY laggy, and only does 10k/h for the first 9 seconds, then for the last second full boost comes on crazy hard and it flys from 10k/h to 100/kh in that last second, the first 9 seconds it only covered 40meters because it was going so slow, then the last few metres it speed up to 100k/h..... covered it really quick.. (maths aren't right there just trying to make the point).
  2. Am i missing something, 627rwhp is about 470rwkw.................. thats nothing like Dirtgarages graph..... Dirt: Ahhh ok so awkw guess that adds a few more on there, so yours makes really good power on 2530's... i guess still belivable tho... How does the boost controller make more power? If the controller is doing its job and holding the set boost level, then it shouldn't matter what boost controller you are using 24psi with an apexi is the same as 24psi with a blitz... as long as its holding the boost.... (ps i use a blitz as well so not saying the apexi is better)
  3. its fixed now i think, you probably just didn't try it in time, would of been system wide not user specific i'm guessing
  4. I know of a GTR with about 500rwkw that is a very fast circuit car that runs an OS box and hasn't had any trouble with it.... I also know another GTR with about 600rwkw used for dyno and drag with the OS box and hasn't had any trouble with it....
  5. So basically you're saying distance covered in x amount of seconds is more important than 0-100 times...... say, like a 1/4 mile race? You're right, but you could put money to say that a car that does 0-100 quicker than another cars 0-100 will also cover more distance, hence beat it 9 times out of 10. In general a car that is quicker over the quater mile usually has a quicker 0-100 as well...................
  6. that seems a bit more like it... 390rwkw, turn off shootout mode and that will drop it to around 360-370rwkw which is in line with other good 2530 setups... what kind of AFR's go with that graph?
  7. Whats everyone going on about bigger wheels filling the gaurds more and giving it more clearence? how does that work? Since when you go up a wheel size you reduce the profile n the tyre to keep the same rolling diamater, which means your car ends up the same height and same gap between the tyre and the guard... you just have more rim and less tyre......... or am i missing something here? ps, R34 GTR fronts look so tough! I'd also be worried about a 3k paintjob... i've never had a full respray but for a proper one they have to remove the windows/lights etc.. which i would of thought would cost a lot more than 3k......
  8. i've got the same problem

    World Cup!

Ok I'm gonna bite..... AFL = 20 goals in 2 hours.... same thing over and over, kinda takes the special feeling out of it? If you do something/see something so repetitively then it loses its excitement. Soccer = 3-4 goals in 90 mins.... when you do see a goal its more rewarding. AFL is following the way of soccer these days, keeping possession and passing getting themselves setup, rather than just booting it down the other end of the field and hoping for the best....
  13. TommyK from these forums had a good deal on his nismo drop in replacements the other week, see if he still has them.
  14. some people need to learn for themselves..... that includes me and you chris, we did it the hardway, people told me not to go for the twin, same as you, we still needed find out ourselves didn't we a year and 5k+ out of pocket later for me...........
  15. Its a trailer to the new best motoring dvd... heres the direct link... http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=83...8348517&q=nismo
  16. Yeah but you have an aftermarket box. Solid centre twin plate = stock box = bang .... As for the OP, why f**k around with a twin plate if you don't need it? 320rwkw isn't huge power, plenty of singles will hold that power, unless you want the wank factor of 'i have a twin plate clutch' Call Jim Berry and chat to him about twin plates........
  17. That graph makes the T04z look like a lag monster
  18. Check the ATTESA fluid. It is in the boot near the drivers side rear quater panel. May be worth bleeding it as well, which you'll need a hoist for.
  19. This better be because your upgrading...............................
