What Brand Media are you using?

Cool, i've got the hitachi as well, only thing holding me back is if the xbox stuffs up i wont have warrenty, but think i'll just have to take that risk

What xbox drive do you have? lg/hitachi? or samsung? which firmware did you use? have you played any backed up games on xbl yet?

You need to scare these P platers into not doing stupid shit. I'm all for driver training, to show them how to control a car and what a car can and can't do, but at the end of the day, usually what determines a driver who doesn't have an accident is they are afraid of what might happen... and usually you get that fear with age and experience (experience of actually being in an accident usually works).... My car now scares the crap out of me on the streets, i can't drive it anywhere near the limit on street, i'm just too scared of what might happen, what if someone pulls out in front of me, what if theres something on the road i don't see in time... where was when i was on my P's i had a pissy little 4 cyl so even when i was being stupid i wasn't going fast enough to do serious damage.

R33 will be a pull type gearbox... R32's are push type.... (well late R32's will be pull type, so are exactly the same as R33 gearboxes).... look at where the slave bolts onto the bellhousing and where the hole for the clutch fork is. if the slave bolts on on the rear side of the gearbox (near the hole for the clutch fork) then its a pull, if it bolts on in front of the hole, then its a push.

You should be able to just plug it in and it should just work, no calibration needed.

All R33 GTR gearboxs are Pull type....

Original series1/2 front lip for R33 GTR (just the lip) is about 900-1000 new from nissan. Series 3 is about 1300 new from nissan, yes thats just hte lip, not the whole bar. Try yahoo auctions japan. I have an original series1 lip sitting in my garage, in average condition tho. You could buy a fibreglass copy from nismo.com.au for about 300, but it will chip easy and crack as soon as you hit something, the original nissan ones are plastic so take a bit of a beating before any damage is done.

Tell him to call nissan or Vicroads. He is wrong. Some people hack the wiring so that both stay on....

hah yeah. gf's brother had parking fines sent to them, 3 in 3 consecutive days for parking somewhere in the city. But thier car had never been to the city, and on those 3 days, she was at work in noble park with her car. They had to get letters and stat decs signed by people at her work saying she was there etc... of course it wasn't that easy, there was lots of other shit involved. Write a letter, tell them to get stuffed and if you dont received a response your happy with Just don't pay the fines. I know some councils send threatening letters to you, but never actually do anything about it.

I have a PCI-E 6600GT video card for sale. Bought new about 6 months ago, just got my hands on a better video card so this one is up for sale. Really only used it to play battlefield2 which it does fine. Think i paid about $170 new for it... Has a 1 x DVI, 1 x VGA and 1 x SVIDEO ports on it. Perfect condition, can't find the original box, but do have the manual/book/cds etc.. that came with it. Price: $130ono If these can be had cheaper elsewhere new feel free to let me know, i think they still go for about $160 new....

Isn't the only real difference between 5000 and 4000 that the 5000 come with those hats, so you can replace the disc a bit cheaper?

I dropped 5 seconds off my time at Winton going from streets to semis... 1.43 to 1.38.... I did have a little bit more power, but i also had some brake issues, without the brake issues i think i would of had another second or so in there.... (on that day)

DBA4000 aren't bad.... think i paid about $400 for a set of fronts.... pretty cheap!

I fit 2 snowboards in the back of the GTR... can't remember how now, was in the back, i thought i had them standing up/sliding under the front seat... to the back windscreen (be careful not to wreck your rear demister, i put towels or something soft on the end of the board).... but maybe i did have to have it diag across the back seat....
