  2. Called N1 vents/slots (well that's what most people refer to them as). They are for airflow I believe.

  4. Make sure the hard to start thing isn't just because of winter coming and the colder weather, could be something as simple as your battery on its way out.
  5. stock pump will be good for well over 300rwkw... injectors depends on your tune/fuel pressure etc... You tuner would be the best person to ask these questions - he's the one who knows what he's going to do.

  8. Yeah Caine is correct, You can't pull the fuse on the R33 GTR. You need to drop the front drive shaft.
  9. haha so you're giving up on the 180 hey dude... when i come and pick up that stuff from you this week i'll take you for a drive in mine if you like... but if you don't want to spend anymoney, just buy something and leave it dead stock. Skylines are pretty unbreakable if you leave them stock. Every mod you do to it is going to increase the chance of it breaking.... keep that in mind
  10. Well anything over 300rwkw i think its a bit full on for stock innards RB26.. it will handle it but the motor will get tired much quicker. If you still have stock internals i'd stick to around 300rwkw... and if thats the target, i'd go the GT-SS...

    Race Pace

    I have one of these Racepace clutches in my car, it drives nice, it holds my 300rwkw+, and they are reasonbly priced, what more do you want? Take my advice, don't f**k around or it may end up costing you stupid amounts of $. If had of got one of these first off 2 years ago i would seriously be 5k+ better off. Long story...
  13. Maybe they just misread... don't think you can do the fuse trick with R33 GTR... need to drop the front shaft. Just PM who you bought it from and ask them directly if you can or not....

  15. thank god, i thought i was going crazy, i was sure the gearstick went into the transfer and if you filled it through there it wouldn't get into the gearbox... Hope not to much damage was done
  16. Yeah i had a guy do mine in Dandenong, found him on the Ns forums, looked after me and helped me out picking the colour etc... think it was less than 300..

  19. I guess we also have to remember that JAGR33 and I take our cars to the track (circuit). A lot harder to make a car last around a circuit, than for a 10sec dyno run or 1/4 mile... Looking at pnb's sig, 125.17mph(@480rwhp) ... so about 360rwkw with 125mph, i *think* that looks about right so dyno's probably reading fine...

  22. mash: yeah aftermarket stuff will probably flow more, but the question is how much, and my guess is not much more, not for the $ spent... ash: doesn't matter how much power you make, i'll still be faster because i've got traction You can have the dyno-queen crown tho I'm sure you'll make more power than me, and i'm sure you'll be stoked with the end result, I know i am.
  23. I'll probbaly be flamed but personally i don't think they are worth it. I still have stock dumps on mine with no problems, and no plans to change. R31Nismoid is going to have the same setup as me soon but with those trust split dumps, so will be able to see if there is any major difference once his car is ready...
