  1. Exactly why i said buy locally, there are plenty in Australia already. You get to drive them, see them, touch them, and get them checked out before you hand over $40,000.
  2. GTR rods are good for 400-450rwkw in an RB26. Would assume similar in an RB25?
  3. 230rwkw is normal on stock RB25 injectors.
  4. Tommy, williamsf1, blitz, how are the cars?
  5. cuong: different dynos give different results.
  6. Very well written letter. Good points.
  7. Use photoshop Seriously dude i wouldn't worry about the figure, 6rwkw won't make that much difference. If your happy with how the car drives/pulls then be happy, don't worry about numbers. If you want more power, time for a new turbo, something like a HKS 2535.
  8. How will the stock intercooler cause lag? An aftermarket cooler is usually bigger. the bigger the cooler the more air to fill up before you hit full boost.
  9. Timing belt is most important. Change all the fluids for nice new fresh stuff. Get a compression/leak down test to make sure the engine is healthy (should of had this done before buying anyway) Get it tuned/put on a dyno to make sure its running ok before giving it stick.
  10. Well done Interesting, the first (and only time) i went to the drags with my stock turbos, making about 250rwkw i ran 12.4@111mph... there was more in it but the strip was crap for traction that day i was told by other regulars. Axle tramping all the way through 1st and 2nd sucks. Do you feel there is anymore MPH in your current setup? The R32 is also lighter so i would of expected it to be a little quicker than my R33.
  11. Noticed he has now changed the car he drives from a GTR to a gtst? I think we got through to him.
  12. FATGTS's idea is good. O2 sensors should only have a minor effect.

    Teh Gtr Can Lose!

They obviously got the timers mixed up that lap.
  15. you got another tune?
  16. I got mine yesterday. Thanks heaps Paul.
  17. I don't know what you paid for it, but if i had a Gtst i'd stick a HKS 25/35 on with PFC, good tune, and make 230rwkw ish... still very responsive. but 25/35 would of been more expensive than the 25/10. Good Luck.
  18. you definatly won't need injectors with that turbo, it will run out of puff up top, but will be very responsive
  19. Obviously do all the maintenece stuff first, timing belt (if you dont know the history of hte car), fluids etc... And winding the turbos to 1bar is your choice, some turbos last some don't. I did over 40,000ks on my stock turbos on 1bar including half a dozen track days. and they were still fine.
  20. Yep turbos and pfc are on thier way. GTR032: how is your car going anyway?
  21. Cool, thanks for the info Jerry.
  22. you don't even need a powerFC - i don't have one, just adj cam gears. but either/or. Aim for around 250rwkw and you'll be into low 12s.
  23. Can injectors have anything to do with lag like GTR032 mentioned earlier in this thread? Why are 34's more responsive than 33's and 32's stock?
  24. PowerFC, adj cam gears, exaust, and wind the boost to 1bar, with a good tune will make around 250rwkw and will get you into the low 12's.
