  1. Nice, Is that rwkw or awkw? Looks like you're hitting full boost/1bar boost around 4200-4300pm? williamsf1 said he was getting 1bar at 2900rpm!! Surely that can't all be cams? I'm about to put a set of these on so trying to find out as much as possible. But i'll probably run mine at 1.3-1.4bar. Whats your max injector duty on stock inj?
  2. If it makes you feel better the R33 GTR Front lip is about $1000-1200 from nissan, yep just for the front lower lip. I wouldn't put fibreglass down there, not going to last long.
  3. Get a PowerFC to replace your ECU and get it tuned by a decent tuner. Lots of people sell thier R33 GTR centre 3 guages on these forums, have a look

  5. How far does your torque gauge move? from what your saying it should be going nearly all the way to the 50. Doesn't sound normal, i barely get any wheel spin, just grips and goes. As already suggested, try bleeding your ATTESA. very simple/cheap to do. But it could be a worn out transfer case, they have clutch packs in them, if its had a lot of ks and lots of thrashing then they could be worn? Don't think you can really test it. Besides getting ti pulled out and looked at. Ohh make sure you have a front driveshaft it could of been taken out and never put back. Also worth checking to make sure you don't have an ATTESA controller somewhere that is turned 100% to rear.

  7. Yeah snowy was telling me yesterday his times (evo) were very close to mine in std 4wd but we never knew he was in our club!!! would of been good to know, would of been some good comp between us. But now he's put cheater tyres on.

    Vic Sau Club ?

    This year we joined in with the WRX club on thier track events. There were about 6-7 of them i think. Non-nissan cars are welcome - the only thing SAU Vic doesn't like is stupid behaviour. Tracks we race at are P.I, Winton, Sandown, Calder, and there was a hillclimb but don't think any of the SAU guys did it, just the WRX guys. We are all a pretty friendly bunch, but be careful of the wang guys that go out the night before track-days, it can get messy

    Petrol Thieves!

    How about this, my mate works at coles nightfill, has a crappy old camry, security came in about midnight saying they found 3 cars missing numberplates, one was my mate, just parked there they stole the number plates, so they called hte cops, dusted for prints etc, they found out later, all 3 plates were reported stealing petrol from a servo 10mins down the road. So 3 cars, steal 3 lots of number plates together, then go fill up together and drive off with fake plates attached... hahaha

  13. You've got to pull the dash out to disconnect it. I'm pretty sure it was the vent that goes to the center face that it opens/closes. I can't remember if it still opens/closes even when it clicks, i didn't take much notice in what didn't work i just couldn't stand the clicking and wanted to fix it so i put the new part in it. http://gtr.ferni.net/misc/dash_removal/heater_unit02.jpg its the black box on top of the heaterbox in that photo. you can see the arm that moves coming out from under neath to the right.

  20. Its pretty simple to 'view' the max values like knock/water temp/inj cycle etc...
  21. I don't have a powerFC so never knew my water temp but it never moved on the std gauge from a touch under the middle. Getting a powerFC now tho so will know in future. I've seen my temp get higher than 120 before i had an oil cooler. so i wonder what the difference is between your GTR richard and ours down here. reving to 7,000 won't make a huge difference, its how long you're on the throttle (i would assume) i usually short shift too around 7,500rpm.
  22. The gauge on the left of yoru speedo is the water temp gauge - just has C and H right? Richard: wierd, i know other guys i race with (snowman,scottsman) both hit upto 120 as well. Maybe its just you NSW drives drive to soft j/k
  23. Dealer warrentys aren't worth much. Since it is thier own money they have to fork out they try to get out of paying for anything. Factory warrenties are different - they are worth it, but only come on a new car. Besides dealers are good at hiding things. The more they hide about the car the better the price they can get.
  24. Links: R33 gtst's don't have a standard oil temp gauge?? are you talking about oil pressure? Richard: Yeah i've been out on track on cold days and still had it hit 120. It was raining last track day for one session and i hit 110. Normal driving to/from work etc.. i get around 75-80, summer maybe 80-90.
