My brother is running an N/A r34 GT-V on direct vapour injection. Runs perfect, cant feel any power loss from petrol to gas. pays $26 to fill up and gets 400km to a tank.

I think so far in this car i have been epad 3 times. 1 full test and 2 noise tests. The guy i know that does the EPA noise test puts that i have a mid muffler on the diagram so the epa dont bother me about it later. But on a different question here, what is the distinct line between a defect and an epa? E.g. On a defect notice they will write that a atmo bov is a defect on the vehicle... but it technically is an EPA issue. I was under the impression that a defect is given for a car that is un road worthy. Why do they pick up things that have to do with EPA and put it on a defect??

So far i have spend almost $8000 in parts for my 300kw rb25 build. Still need to pay to get the stuff put in and tuned. Budget atleast $10,000 for 300kw mate.

When i went to get the epa done they only took pics of my engine bay and cooler. Technically on paper my exhaust system looks the same with the pea shooter and with the cannon. Thing is i can always say i had the small muffler on when caught, thats if the cop doesnt take a pic of it on the spot. They cant prove it.

Just do what i did Beau, My exhaust system is a full 3 inch with only a cat and muffler. When i get epad i have a custom pea shooter rear muffler which i chuck on which goes down to 2 and a 1/4 inch. Passed EPA with the full turboback 3 inch to that muffler, with only a cat and got 87db. Know you have passed it now but me spending $150 on that muffler saved me 3 times already

Personally i wouldnt go with highflow stock injectors. Prefer to get something that you know wont cause you any problems. Ive considered this and with many people opinions bought Nismo 740cc injectors instead. Least i know they wont f**k up on me.
