Lol thats what we were trying to do when we had the old VL, waiting for some moron to poke out of a sidestreet too far (of course it would have to be a decent car) and collect him on the way and take the insurance money When my dad was driving the VL, he was in this kind of situation. Car pulled out of a sidestreet, he swerved out of the way, and tapped another car which was right next to him. The car that pulled out of the street drove right passed as if nothing has happened. Of course now it was my dads fault for hitting the other car, and had to get insurance to pay for the damages. His only words after that were that he should have just plowed straight into that car comming out... atleast it wouldnt be his fault then

Thanks for the pm jamie. Was going to organise one like this with Nick when we both get our licences back. So probably will miss this unless someone wants to give me a lift. Ill still organise another Duck meet once i get my licence back anyways... Tell you the truth a convertable would be easier to automate than a sunroof as a sunroof has tilt and slide. There will need to be a signal given whether to close it by sliding, or just from the tilt. I was going to get this auto wind kit from ebay but i called a few places and they have quoted me an arm and a leg to get it put in place and even more to get the sunroof to work. Only thing i got wired to close when i arm my car is the side mirrors which fold automatically.

It wouldnt suit a series 2 at all. It carries on the no agression front end of a series 1. No sharp edges.
