  1. Duncan and Nick promised you'd all be nice to me ... Paid, will do up form at work today Now I just need to sort a fire extinguisher...
  2. hmm meeting till 5, St Leonards to Penrith in Peak hour I don't like my chances. It's a webex so maybe I'll login and walk away...... I'm with Duncan M7/M4. ( but I am starting that side ) Really looking forward to this, I know I'm not happy with my setup but I have NFI what to do about it.
  3. nothing wrong with a classic with lots of mileage, if you did the driving and it's well maintained I don't see the problem.
  4. another vote for autowatch and a proper install.
  5. Paid for x 2 , pm sent.
  6. Thanks to Nick, Terry and all the execs for their efforts in making a great day. Thanks to the Sponsors, photographers and other Skyline drivers for coming out to play. Had a great time meeting and greeting people. Loved the seeing the line of stags off in the distant. I also feel very humble my stag was picked for a prize, thanks judges We only got a couple of happy snaps before the camera died but here is a traffic jam I was happy to be in
  7. Washed the floor mats yesterday and left them hanging over the back railing. Promised myself I'd remember. I didn't. Fortunately they're not to wet. Not happy about the rain but seeing as most Stagea's do daily duties, they are not afraid of a little water. See you all there.
  8. Is anybody bringing their Kids along ? Was thinking of off loading them for the day but if others are, why not.
  9. This get's a big +1 from me. It may be basic stuff to a lot of people on here but for some us it would be a great starting point. One of the reasons I joined was to give me access to people and information that I just don't have in my normal circle of friends ( to many inner city tree hugging hippies ) I will be attending every Tech night I can but I'd like to get my head around the basic stuff first. I'm reading as much I can but you can't beat practical teaching.
  10. Spotted a M35 on Stephen rd Botany this morning while collecting mine from the smash repairers. Looks good in wine red. Also spotted Silver C34 (S1? ) in St Leonards collecting a package( Mailcall courier) from My work earlier in the week. Called out but you where already leaving. Besides the fuel bill, would be a nice way to work as a courier.
  11. Have been granted leave pass , In!
  12. Go the sleeper even more so now the cannon is replaced with Hi-tech twin .
  13. Not sure if it matters but my name ( Ryan Ambrose ) is still on the spectators list, I definitely can't come.
  14. Lot's of Stagea spotting @WRC Spotted yours parked near me at Bushman's on Friday. that would have been me at SS25. Also waved to another C34 at Talarm Hall on Saturday as I leaving.
  15. very nice, love the red. Any from the camera jib being setup in the last photo?
  16. Spotted a yellow c34 in the Edgeware rd carpark, Enmore.
  17. Got all volunteers you need? Did a cake get organised ? For Rally Aus? I'll be up in there myself. Just booked a leave pass with the wife, so I'll be there, been keen to get long to one of these.
  18. Mate that is awesome. thank you so much, shows exactly what I need! They tried to fit it so that it was flush rather then sitting with a gap. I think there must be a rubber seal between the lip and bar. SAU comes through again . Will let you know how it goes.
  19. I used http://www.alloypro.com.au/ to repair a buckle but I have feeling they are not the cheapest, cost me 200+
  20. Yes, It's from the turbo back as there was signs of damage past the Cat. Very happy with the result but anything I say on performance would be subjective. Certainly feels better and sounds awesome. Cheers for that . Can anyone confirm if it is an insert or painted ?
  21. Thanks to Adam, Eric and Duncan for letting me ride along. I was hoping you'd scare me off track days, instead You helped convince me to take the Stag out as soon as I can. Next time....
  22. I've seen a few people mention that they are going up to Coff's to compete? Is anybody going to just to watch? At this stage I'm going by myself and keeping it cheap by camping in provided camp grounds near the service park. Would great to see some other SAU people up there , I'll have to pick a SAU shirt to make it easy for people to spot me. As I didn't know what I'm doing bought an Enthusiast Evernt Super pass but i have now found a spectators guide here http://www.bmsc.com.au/forums/australian-rallying-discussion/26849-wrc-australia-fans-spectating.html . reading through it I may have adjust my plans a little , the Stag my have troubles with some of access roads. Anyway's, if your going, let me know, always keen to have beer with new people.
  23. Car is now back on the road, the work done by California is great and the new Hi-Tech exhaust sounds awesome. I just need to sort out an issue with Dayz rear lower lip. The fitting is not yet correct and also requires some extra painting. The workshop is happy to sort the issue out and has asked if I could get some photos of one in place to make sure it's done right. Could I please ask somebody with a Dayz S2 bodykit to take some photos detailing the three black sections and how the lip sits on the rear bar? Also has anybody removed one and does it have rubber seal between the lip and bar? How the lip looked before How the lip looks now . Thanks guys.
