I got taken for a drive in a 2005 subaru liberty turbo, it detunes the car ALOT until it warms up a little bit, then you can go for it.

Putting my GTR together again (front end) and I cant remember where alot of the brackets go. If anyone has a R32 GTR that has the front bumper off, would it be possible for me to look at it to get an idea where everything bolts up and to and how, as it has to been to long since I pulled it apart. Help is appreciatted. I would also like to take photos if possible. Thanks

Whats the stub axle mod?

Im after some brake lines off an R32 GTR, in particular the 2 lines from the master cylinder to the ABS unit and the 3 lines coming out of the ABS. I would prefer to get them from a car that hasnt had them removed yet like a wreck or something, so that nothing gets into the lines like what happened to mine. If you are going to get rid of yours let me know and I will remove them from your car if that suits you. I am in Blacktown, Sydney. Please PM me if you want to get rid of them. Thanks Josh

What is this car running suspension wise? ie rubber/poly bushes

Im just wondering if anyone can give me some suggestions on how to clean out my brake lines (the steel ones). I left them out in the weather thinking I wasnt going to use them but now I have decided otherwise. They have a bit of rust in the openings which make me think there might be rust further in them and I dont want that in the fluid. I was thinking of putting some rust converter in them. any ideas??

I am on the lookout for some weekend work at the moment. I am a Fitter/Machinist by trade with 3 years of CNC experience. I have maintained about 10 Aussie Racing Cars for over a year doing mechanical work on them. I am also good at anything hands on, labouring etc, anything along those lines I am also looking into. I ended up making the pins, bolted them to the subframe, then bolted the subframe to the chassis. It was a really good fit went straight in with minimal (0.02mm) clearance between the holes in the chassis rails and the locating pins.

Just wondering if anyone can give me an idea on how to align the front subframe up to the chassis rails. I have removed it and there is alot of clearance between the studs and the holes in the subframe. There are 2 14mm holes in the chassis rails and 2 12mm holes in the subframe. I am going to make some spigots to locate the 2 together, a 14mm shaft with a 12mm dia step. Any other suggestions? Help is appreciatted

The ball and race part of balljoint and a rose joint/spherical bearing are very similar with the difference being the ball joints are sealed up with grease. If you could seal up a balljoint and fill it with grease would it last alot longer?

Try a bearing company. They make them. Linear Bearings

Thats why I bought the unslotted rotors. Then I can put the rotors up on the cnc mill and put the slots in where I want.

what happens if the crank is to far out of spec? or does this rarely happen?

Giant, Are you still using the AAC valve and the air regulator on your engine?? If not, what do you use instead of them. thanks. and which of the 2860 turbos are you using? the -7 or -5?
