search my posts in this thread for fuel consumption figures on the FG turbo and also the commodore VZ V6, i think it's a great choice but i would recommend you factor in a heavy duty load leveling kit which is about $700-$1000.

having a look at some of the UK cars they are well organised and fast. Redbrick Racing might do well in AUS,

pretty sure you will find the new section becomes the drift section as suited to having an audience sitting on the hill very well. also allows them to run a drift day on that side of the circuit and then a track day on the other circuit.

yeah they have to use the full GP track now, i really really hope they don't use the older track as the new one looks so good and will allow the overseas teams more chance against the local teams as they won't have much testing.

i dont think they have decided. i think it will depend on if its all finished in time. The old track has changed slightly anyway so times should be a little different this year

The track is coming along nicely and some shots from the air show how it looks. Cooperate hill looks to be the spot to take in all the action from the track so bring your scooter along this year!!! is anyone following the global time attack? they came out with a bang and lots of cash but there last event only had 25entrants. is this it for the usa time attack scene or is there other series?

there is a full HD camera in this weeks Big W catalog for $78, can't find it on the web site but with the price of a half decent camera around $300 now with all the bells and whistles if you are putting a camera in the car why not just buy something like this? Did a search and this seems to be some video from the $78 one from Big W

I herd that SAU Nationals might be @ Bathurst in place of "Drive Bathurst's" as they want Skylines to once again take over the mountain. This is in conjunction with Nissan Motorsports Australia release of the V8 supercar at the same event.
