Opps. Hot tip then..... Hare and Forbes 3 day sale is on next weekend. Tell the wife you need a new tool or two to fix that issue she has been nagging you to fix.

Picked up a new timing light. I never had one and was looking for something that would last and be of good quality. It is a Innova 5568 which is there top of the line model with a few features. More details here http://www.equus.com/Product/5568/INNOVA%C2%AE-Pro-Digital-Timing-Light-(DIS)

2.5k would be Ok if it was a lot better then the Motec unit of the same price. The link xtreme is 2k so not mich more if that is the case.

Saw that Scott from Insight has released these late last year. Did a quick search and not much on SAU about them, are they any good and worth the investment? New brand would always have a few bugs to iron out wouldn't they?
-
Yes. Impressed with the feel of them, looking online that price from Bunnings is very sharp with juat one pair costing $40-50.
-
Saw this NWS 3 piece plier set at Bunnings yesterday. NWS is german made and it seems a lot of people are buying this brand instead of Knipex now. Think they were only 40 or 50 buck so thought I would give them a try, very nice and happy with the purchase.

I would think the Skyline R33 packages would be pretty close to the S14/s15. -

Anything for s14 or s15? -
Is that large section a fridge in the tool chest?
-
I wouldn't worry about getting any stick about your purchase unless you bought a falcon.
-
If it is run by paul who runs the QLD time attack event then I am sure it will be a good event. Either way i would say it Will mean 3 events outside of WTA at 3 different circuits which is a good thing.
-
So what did you purchase?
-
Well done. Should sell the kit and offer custom patterns as an optional extra.
-
Noticed the Kinchrome tools have changed a bit in style and dont seem to be as good as they used to be. (Have the new 14mm one compared to the old 14mm one I have) Also the craftsman tools in the US look to have moved to be made in China and no longer as good as the old made in US ones.

I saw the compression test kit but was not 100% on it. Is it accurate?

Picked up these two tool sets from Ebay. Ordered Sunday and delivered today, looking at the address the dealer is in Mt Kurangai. First one was $43.99 for the 7 piece hose clamp plier set and the second (the sump tools) was $9.95 (all buy now prices) For the price these are a steal although the seller didnt combine the postage which was no biggy. http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/231119061094 I saw one seller wanting $160 for the same thing They also have some other tools as well I might have a closer look at.
