  1. Does it catch at all on the larger 4in aluminum pipe at angles like 45'? Many years ago when doing flyscreens the metal drop sww every now and then would catch and throw the piece.
  2. I thought the metal blade was $100 by itself?
  3. Thanks Boostn, dropped past Hare & Forbes today to see what they look like in person and there is 3 below $1100. But all look a little poor quality, really didnt want to spend a lot either.
  4. Cold saw would be nice but I cant really justify the cost for something I would not use that often. Which do you think is better for the under $500mark?
  5. Do people use the horozontal bandsaws or a metal drop saw? Wanted to guage which one is better for alluminum intercooler piping or stainless exhaust as well as tube for cages/fab work? Was looking at the bandsaws from Hare and Forbes?
  6. Are these guys better to deal with then the company directly? Andy at adaptronic seems to rate them well over the years(or the older LC-2)
  7. If it hasn't been getting hot even for a period won't this reduce the life of the sensor? Keen to hear more about the Innovate, where did you order it from?

    Helmets?

You can get aus std helmets pretty cheap for as low as <$150 from these motorcycle shops.
  9. Hi, I have 4 x Injector Dynamics 1000cc Injectors for sale that have come out of my car after upgrading to 2000cc. Injectors are in good condition. They are the 14mm sized ones and have come out of a sr20. $300 for the set.
  10. I have the race tech but I have found the most important question is what else are you planning on installing or have installed already. For example if you have a haltech you are better off getting there dash, same with if you have a motec. The reason is that they work a lot better with their own equipment, when you mix and match in my experience you run into issues that might not be know.
  11. Sorry missed a couple of bits so updated, charge signal will go in but just left it out for time being.
  12. Hi, I have just done up a quick diagram for the power circuit as i was wiring it up and wanted to make sure i had everything covered. For the mean time i am just going to use the FIA batt switch as i was going to replace this with a solenoid. When i was looking at the switch the ignition and fuel pump are meant to go through the cut off section on the switch however i have wired it up i think that it cuts everything. Does this look OK?
  13. I like the coloured door and roof. I know others have suggested just insulating the roof but if you can I would do the entire shed, you are in an area that can get very cold and very hot and the last thing you want is to be sweeting it out in summer and freezing fingers in winter. Doing it when you build the shed will save time
  14. Why do you think this is not a more popular option then the manual isolation switches typically seen?
  15. you guys might want to check out this https://vimeo.com/74180208
  16. The only concern I had was that the alternator if it was bougjt in after the solenoid wouldnt it potentially keep the car running.
  17. Here is something I found elsewhere but not sure about the alternator
